What do you choose? Who do you trust?

Both consoles have its library of gems like these

Honestly difficult choice but I would say gamecube because I do want to try out REmake and Killer7. I remembered emulating Baten Kaitos but haven't got around to finishing it.

Blue pill. Sorry, Mario, but I'm less afraid of a Sonic-flavored surprise on the DC than a Mario one on the GC

I'm not taking anything offered to me by a plumber. I can only imagine where those hands have been... >_>

If I'm being honest, though? Both consoles have Ikaruga and PSO. Can't go wrong either way 🥳

There should be a neither option, as that's what I'd pick.

The Dreamcast was a beautiful hail Mary that disintegrated quickly in the face of impossible competition, and at a point where Sega had ill-spent most of the consumer trust it once had.

The NGC on the other hand is like that awkward cousin you sometimes see at family gatherings. It had immense potential, but gets stunted at every turn due to lack of enduring love and support.

YA x5!!!

Tbf this doesn't really answer the question, both systems have an excellent port of this game.

Also reminder that homebrew worked on DC without modding the system, it's as simple as burning a disc, giving it more usage back in the day than I did with the GC.

Dreamcast because for me it has Blue Stinger & Dogs Bower is incredible.
A comment as accurate as the game itself because Blue Stinger is honestly a joke of a game. There's a reason why all horror game lovers make fun of it 😭
  • Luigi's Mansion
  • Viewtiful Joe
  • MK Double Dash
  • RE4, RE1R, the best ports of RE2 & RE3.
  • Soul Calibur II
  • Bloody Roar: Primal Fury
  • The SSX games.
  • Killer7
  • Sonic Adventure 2 Battle
  • Super Monkey Ball 1 & 2
  • Ikaruga - Considered the best version of the game, and superior to arcade and Dreamcast original.
I would pick both, but GC is my main pick, even though I am a hardcore SEGA fan.

Two living "corpses" that still kick ass and have more to offer than this entire console generation and whatever pathetic excuse the next generation will be with PS6 and non existent Xbox. The only soon to be corpse is whenever the PS6 comes out.
Yeah between the Cube & Dreamcast, this one was a no-brainer. Gamecube has all the Resident Evils, all the Sonics, most of the Tony Hawks, the flippin' MONKEY BALLS & VIEWTIFUL JOES & METROID PRIMES. & yeah the rest of first-party Nintendo support. Kinda hard to go wrong here!
Jet Set will be missed but that's it.

Not Sonic Shuffle.

Also Dreamcast had a lot of great games GC missed out on, Marvel VS Capcom 2, Fighting Vipers 2, Rayman 2, Bomberman Online, Chu Chu Rocket, Dead or Alive 2, Street Fighter III Third Strike, Virtua Fighter 3, House of the Dead 2, SEGAGAGA, Donald Duck Goin' Quackers, Samba De Amigo, Space Channel 5 Part 2, Shenmue, to name a few.

I wouldn't call Virtua Fighter 3's Dreamcast port as ''great''

Donald Duck Goin' Quackers is also on Gamecube and Chu Chu Rocket can be played on Gamecube with Game Boy Player

Marvel vs Capcom 2 is likely that wasn't released on Gamecube because Marvel license expired(and that's why PS2 and Xbox ports are inferior because both were rushed) and Dead or Alive 2 because Team Ninja was focusing only on OG Xbox, Shenmue 1 couldn't get ports because to license issues

Sega easily could made quick Model 3 ports for Gamecube as both are PowerPC but... as we are talking Sega, Sega wasted a perfect opportunity

Goin' Quackers is also on GameCube i think

You should have specified then
It's not like a "bad port of a good game" there are five completely different games with the same title and boxart, only the game that was released on DC and N64 is the good one, PS1 game is also good but runs poorly, PS2 and GC game is just bad.

Still, you only mentioned that the GameCube doesn't had the game, nothing about a crapier version.
