Yes, you read that title correctly lol. One of the most obscure titles, that was exclusive to Japan, and was developed for an expensive add-on that wasn't exactly celebrated by the gaming community at the time, AND was featured in the Sega Mega Drive Mini 2 (the JP model, specifically)... has finally by translated into English.
Ladies, gentlemen, and all living creatures alike, may I present you guys with "Mahou no Shoujo Silky Lip"!
Developed by Nihon Telenet (the guys behind the Genesis port of "Mugen Senshi Valis," "Valis III" and the Genesis port of "Ys III") and published by Riot, this is an a magical girl themed adventure game with some light RPG undertones that is structured like a TV series.
As a fan of magical girl anime and one of the 3 people who actually LIKE the Sega CD, this game was on my radar for an excruciatingly long time. The only reason I hadn't looked into it proper at the time was... well, it wasn't yet translated and my Japanese is very limited. That's going to change very soon.
The team responsible for this new fan translation is none other than the Supper team; the same people behind "Madou Monogatari" for Mega Drive and its Game Gear offerings, the Mega Drive version of "Sailor Moon," the "Galaxy Fraulein Yuna" games, and even the Sega Saturn port of "Yumimi Mix." These guys (SOMEHOW) managed to implement their FMV cutscene subtitles from their PCE-CD translations... onto the Sega CD. Just when I thought it wouldn't be possible to implent this technology on the Sega CD, these guys found a way.
Anyway, grab the patch here.
