What did you learn today? ?

Two games being in the same genre, being made by the same people and having similar themes and features can still lead to you having two completely different opinions on both haha.

Peach ice tea is rather tasty.

It probably falls more into common sense territory, but when cooking a green curry: more curry paste does in fact equal a spicier curry.

I've been trying to make one curry a week for about a month to improve my cooking skills, and I daresay I am getting better at it.

Ginger ale is pretty good but would probably be better if it was distributed locally here via branch rather than being imported so I wouldn’t pay a whole dollar every time I wanna drink it hahahaha.

I learned that if something falls, just let it. I was attempting to remove some broken window blinds when the entire piece decided to fall to the floor. I attempted to stop it and got an owie for my troubles.

I also learned (or relearned, anyway) that, after finally replacing a couple of window screens upstairs, that being able to open the windows and have airflow in this house is positively delightful.

I thought I was a sugar addict but I came to the harrowing truth that I’m also a chocolate addict.

I'm curious, how did you discover this? Accidentally wolfed a bunch of zero sugar chocolate and then went, "wait, they make such a thing?!"

Trying my best to observe patterns and responses. I had to withdraw from sugar recently. I couldn’t do it completely unfortunately but i reached a point where it became safe-ish to consume (for the record this isn’t anything super concerning, just me realizing I’ve poor dental health). I don’t really need stuff like sodas or candies as I’ve never liked those to begin with, and I initially thought sweet tea/coffee or pastaries would be enough but I realized the urge for chocolate specifically gets randomly pretty strong when I see it.

Not strong enough where it’s a problem and I can go on days without eating it, so I was probably being a little hyperbolic, haha.

The Sargasso sea is the only sea without any landmass connected to it, meaning it is self contained by 4 currents. Also that Sargasso is a seaweed that washes up on beaches and becomes toxic when it decomposes.

I learnt today that a good mate of mine passed away last week. We had a falling out about 4 months ago and never spoke after it. I really regret it so I'm having a few beers in his memory

Incompatible personalities can still occur even if you have a lot of commonalities with your acquaintance(s).
