Love me some Iced Earth. This album, Horror Show, is based off old universal monsters and is incredible.

And Pelican, a really sick jam post-metal sort of band. Only instrumentals, and only the heaviest riffs.

A masterpiece in death metal and prog metal alike. Get your ears checked if you don't dig this. Nah I kid but God I love this album. It's a concept album with a dystopian theme, and it feels as if the repeating motifs accent various parts of the story, ending with the same riff in the beginning, thus leading back to "Another sky is young."
HIGHLY recommended listen while reading lyrics. Extremely riveting.

EDIT: Oh yeah, funny you post that right after me. Mikael Akerfeldt actually did a good amount of the vocals on this album!
