The Sixth Sense.... I highly recommend it. It's hard for me to have many movies that make me sad, but these are the ones.

I can't recommend The Orphanage enough. It's a great Spanish movie that is worth a watch, but it will ruin your day.

2 of the most depressing movies ive watched. When the wind blows and The Elephant Man

When the Wind Blows is a difficult watch. It really communicates the bleakness of the situation so so well.
Children of Men was also mentioned in this thread, it gets a +1 from me too.

Has anyone seen After Life? Knows as Wonderful Life in Japan, I don’t wish to spoil it, but it certainly left me with thinking a good while about the scenario the characters are presented in the film.

Miracle Mile is a really good one, highly underrated movie from the 80s. If possible go into it blind the less you know the better.

Its an odd one for me but the only movie that somehow just gets me almost to tears just by thought of it because what the main-character lost in all his years no matter how he tried :

Just the thought to be immortal but see how one love of your life to another dies of old age and you cant die with them , while you suffer by the cycle of life to witness it over and over again .

Truly , this movie underlines the quote " Life is killing me " perfectly .
