I'd argue that even if it's around a PS1 (well technically closer to a N64 in term of processor). Aside from space the game could handle Resident Evil and Rayman 2.The DS... Is no better than a PS1, probably weaker, weak 3D graphics abilities, two screens (or one screen cut in half) and is too damn small.
That's my overall review.
It was still a handheld that could manage 3D despite the resolution so it's quite a technical feat.
It's not one screen cut in half though, the resolution was slightly higher than a GBA's and the Lite and DSi had a bigger screen than the Tank.
I'd argue also that even if there are shovelwares (like most popular consoles like how the PS1, PS2 and Wii had) you still had plenty of actual good games.It would be better if 3/4 of its games weren't shovelware.
I mean, the presence of shovelwares does not mean that the console is automatically bad (unless almost every games are).
