if its any consolation waffles ive 12p in the bank right now. I stockpile food for a rainy day and looks like this is my week. Im gonna remain positive and donate some books and games just so i can say ive done something with my week hopefully by weekend can get my dad to order some shopping, screwed while we wait for his new bank card that was cancelled last week. So yeah i get it completely. May 1st is my big day court to win back money thats been denied to me for a while. I start counselling soon getting the counselling wins me the case as the panel in court can be hard asses but ive faced them 2 years ago and won.

I have noticed a lot of people seem to be down today on here your definitely not alone. I distracted myself for 6 hours today by setting up an x box 360 emulator have done very little round the house today well apart from feed multiple cats which gives me purpose. Things should be a bit clearer soon.

An often overlooked aspect of retro gaming is that it is how many low income individuals get to play games at all. I certainly wouldn't be as interested in videogames today if I didn't get to binge emulated games on my budget computer as a child, and I'm sure that's true for many of us here.

I have a fear of heights so plane rides make me feel uneasy during take offs and landings.
But on my last flight 3/4 months ago, I ended up listening to AI generated songs to take my mind off, just so happens that the songs were about serial killers, brutal lyrics and all.

It caught me off guard because I wasn't expecting any of it, when I really listened and took in the lyrics, I felt disgusted but also found myself enjoying it at the same time.
It was the first time that I gave 0 fucks about the flight or the turbulance.

I even looked out the window to see the angle and height of everything, which I never do.
And even then I felt nothing.

That's when I found an appreciation for those kinds of lyrics and it got me into doing my own AI songs.

I know how you feel. I had jury duty about a decade ago and the building that it took place in had glass window paneling all the way up to the top floor along with the elevator. I was literally cringing out of pure unadulterated fear. I was fine however going back down to the bottom.

Sounds unnerving.. a flight is only 1 and done every few months or so if not once a year, but that sounds like it was daily for you..

Well, on the plus side, we never assembled for a case. I also got to drink Mellow Yellow, read comics (particular 60's era Captain Mar-vell), and chat with some pretty nice folks. Also came home with 30 dollars in my pocket for my troubles
