The Café -- General Off-Topic Chat (AKA: Let's Break The Ice)

Lol last time this shit happen to me i got lucky bcs i bring my Screwdriver (not that intimidating but still better than unarmed).

Still it's lucky for you that robber didn't have any weapon on them
This reminds me of a time when I was picking up my wife late at night, I passed an overpass and a guy in a hoodie was walking opposite my direction.

A he was going to pull out a gun, I didn't have any weapon on me at the time, but I was either high or drunk or whatever that danger didn't register in my head so I just kept looking at him while walking.

He put it away when a woman came up the other side of the bridge, probably didn't want the extra attention ::dkapproves

i went to the other convenience store here that i never go to.
they're options for drinks felt very minimal, and they priced their only two kinds of arizona drinks at $1.99.
i pretty much left immediately after that. didn't even buy anything. the other convenience store here is bigger and has more options, all be it a longer walk for me. plus the arizonas are more appropriately priced.

Going through the exact same thing right now. Do you live in the countryside too?

I'm autistic, my daily routine is watching everything unfold around me while I try to figure out how not to sound entitled, apathetic or "tryhardy" when talking to other people.

It can really feel like a glass jail at times.
i work a job were i have to be pretty social with the customers, and sometimes i just don't have the energy to do that. rather just mind my own business until its over, but it becomes such an insult to some people to do that.

I don’t tend to, being honest.
Me too. Not that I don't like it, but most of the time it's a lot draining for nothing, just some chat about banal things. That's my experience at least. Of course, i don't expect to talk to everyone about things like the universe, our existence and so on, just that most conversations i had in work and college are just mundane, boring and for some reason it drains a lot ::apollo

God kveld.

Hope everyone's doing well.

I'll be taking a look at all those posts I couldn't comment on for the last month... and maybe become a terrorist in a few, IDK lol.

Shot at what looked like a man, toppled over, went over and bashed it's head in.

Just finished a book I read in high-school (Crusade in Jeans, by Thea Beckman)
and man, it was just as good as I remembered it

That shows that I'm definitely into reading, it only matters what is the thing am reading (and if it's physical, of course)

Last year i screwed up with a friend that i meet 8 years ago he doesn't want to see me anymore probably hates me now i'm trying to accepting it but feels shitty i don't know if i'm going to meet someone similar or something

I think the only book that I ever read in High school that I actively wanted to read again was To Kill A Mockingbird. There were however tons I read in Elementary that I wanted to read again and still have. Namely The Watsons Go To Birmingham and Because Of Winn-Dixie
