ShadowFlair is a fun episodic Action RPG game in the early 2000s that I don't see talked about much! So here it is for you to play in full! This includes all the episodes in one big package! I also threw in some bonus stuff like the Item Catalogue (A way to track items you find in game), maps, guides and anything else you may wanna use on a second run of the game, or if you get stuck! If you have any issues or questions, just let me know! Enjoy!

Right now it's melee but curious to go ranged magic and see that in action, not come across anything yet that lets me do magic but maybe i just did something wrong/different at the start.

still though, if it ends up being a melee run, its cool with me.

AH I forgot how this game started! Thanks for the heads up! I think you gotta take a bit of melee at first then find your wand/staff to use until you get your magic. Ill update that now, thank you! I went on memory with that one and it failed me lol.

M is your magic so when you get magic it will show up there. Should come after leveling up.

What class are you going? I forgot to put a small guide on how classes worked in this but I updated it. You basically use the thing you want the game to set you as when you level. Use melee, become warrior. Use magic, become wizard.

Right now it's melee but curious to go ranged magic and see that in action, not come across anything yet that lets me do magic but maybe i just did something wrong/different at the start.

I knew of this game from that Austin Eruption video about forgotten Diablo clones, and played this game after watching it, and hoping to find online players, and make it work with dgVoodoo. (Also, most of the staff who worked on this game worked on the PS3 title Folklore (aka FolkSoul), by the way.)

I am part of a ShadowFlare discord so it could be that one. So far someone has been working on getting the servers back in some way. Maybe like how xbox live has insignia now. We will have to see.

Adoring this so far, now i really wanna play online somehow.

Ahhh yes, the one diablo clone that actually looks good. I played "episode 1" of the game like 20 years ago because episode 1 could be downloaded for free from the internet, but never got to download the full game until recently when i got it from the internet archive. Apparently, there is a discord server somewhere out there where brazilians set up co-op matches because over there the game was somewhat popular, I wonder if they use hamachi to connect these days.

ooh that's really neat actually, i'd love to try the online co-op.
I'm just a sucker for the style, isometric view point games are my thing.

tough huh? knowing my luck i'll have trouble getting out the first town lol

I don't think its that bad but you really do have to be on your A game when your playing this, gear wise and everything. Using your spells or special attacks, also found in the magic list, levels them at 1 exp per kill with it so making sure your at your A game there too is vital as it goes on.

Obviously I dont want to spoil it since "always be at top" is a pretty vanilla hint but it goes hard for this game.

Coop would be fun to try too if you ever wanna! I think the lan portion of it works.

Also! Depending on how you fight at the start determines your class. If you use mainly melee, you will become a warrior. If you use magic, you will become a wizard. Keep that in mind!
