PC Ultima Underworld Remake

it's crazy how advanced this game was back in 1992, it think it was the first RPG with free range movement, a full auto map, optional quests, and a full physics engine with collisions... if you throw two rocks in game one against the other, their respective momentums will substract from each other with the collision and fall to the ground, that was totally new in 1992.
this game directly inspired The elder scrolls, King's field and system shock

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, but if there's one franchise that is in desperate need of a remake it's Ultima. Top down from Akalabeth to Ascension. They're just so archaic by any contemporary metric, but feature such ingenious and immersive design that it desperately needs to be transplanted from a something programmed on a 2-Bit Macintosh from 1987 or something. They already modded the fuck out of Dungeon Siege to remake Ultima 4 & 5, putting all of Underworld through Unity doesn't sound like the worst idea. I wonder if all the horrendous voice acting is preserved?

Thanks for the link! I honestly don't know how I feel about it, but I'll give it a play anyway.
