And even if everything is conveyed perfectly, there's no way to guarantee mellow acceptance and civil discourse will result from this.

I like this idea, but I could see a lot of problems with it. Like I advocated for in my very first post, leniency should be given to good actors before any permanent strike against their account is made.

I think people would be more against it if he wasn't so good about staying fair about the whole thing.

I can't make everyone believe my intentions – and, for the record, I do consider myself someone legitimately interested in this forum's quality, otherwise I wouldn't have made all these dumb posts – but I can try to explain them in as clear as manner as possible, which is what I've (ideally) done throughout this thread. If people read what I've written (most won't), I like to think they'll agree with me.

Wasn't intentional; it all started from genuine curiosity over people with "Banned" as their custom titles.
