Captain's Log, Stardate: 4W 5H17
29 parts have been successfully incorporated into the Dolphin, but goddammit, I really want that piggy bank. I mean, there's probably like, 10 whole dollars in there! That's probably worth the fruitless sacrifice of a couple hundred Pikmin, right?
The preparations were made surprisingly quick, and I was surprised at just how quickly the Blue Piks built them bridges, I barely even had enough time to move the cardboard box and fetch all the bombs I needed. However, they will not be needed for this endeavour, and I sent them home. Only Reds and Yellows, here.

I learned in later attempts, that it was best to dismiss my Pikmin beforehand and just trigger Bulblax with Olimar, and he has a much lower refractory period than any of the Pikmin.
Many good min were lost this fine day, and every single fella felled was like a dagger in my heart and a scar upon my flesh. There were no Yellow Pikmin in this battle, but ones of beautiful, glimmering, Gold instead. Each flashing like a bright star in the dark maw of our enemy to stop him from doing that stupid hopping shit that's just utter bullshit like holy crap someone should've been fired over that.
My ultimate strategy was to try and strafe Bulblax the moment he began his licking animation to mob his flabby cheeks and recalling right when I anticipated a hop (much like with the Wolly Hops). Once he began leaping up into the air, I ran my Hocotatian ass back the safety of the back gate and tossed a singly
Yellow GOLD Pikmin in a Kamikaze manoeuvre to stun him, then rush him with Red Pikmin and repeat until dead.
And so, our journey this May has come to a
HAPPY close, and now Olimar can return home safely. Hopefully there will be no financial shenanigans to incite another stupid adventure with an incompetent crewmen who I hate with a passion for stealing all my fucking juice you stupid goon.
I had a lot of fun actually participating in the thread this time, and I hope I'll make enough of a stink with a later game to shame me into to taking part in the next one.
If I do decide to do any challenge run stuff, it's going to be with Pikmin 1^2, since then it'll be kind of like taking the limiters off with the better engine.
