Torneko's Great Adventure?

You got it!
Cool! It threw me off that this is JP-only and the, I guess "floor" indicator appeared in Japanese in screenshots, but it's in the Repo and the Eng-patched version prints "Fl" like yours.

I guess we can all agree that... @RanmyakuIchi, YOU'RE UP!! 👉

Alrighty, how about this?

Oh, I didn’t know about that, I just took the screenshot from Google.

But yeah, it’s the predecessor to Torneko: The Last Hope, on SNES, which is why I couldn’t accept the earlier guesses::terriermon-happy

Just throwing out a wild guess — is this Terranigma?

I'm at a total loss... It's not Ogre Battle, is it? Is it an RPG?
Time for some hints:

It's a Super Famicom RPG that wasn't released in the West. It has a unique twist where you alternate between playing as the protagonist and the antagonist.

AAAAAA I KNOW WHAT IT IS BUT I CAN'T THINK OF THE NAME ::omgdoom
I know it has a really good soundtrack and a really cool cover. Time to dig!!!

That was fast! Must be from all the digging! I see Cobra is happy now!

YOUR TURN!! 👉
It was the sandal that gave it away, and the way the infinity symbol was stylized. It's Sakura, right? And for some reason it instantly looked like a PSP game to me.

Here's mine!

I sure this is a final fantasy or DQ.
Just don't know the name.
Hmmm(*map look like familiar*)
Jack give me the shovel we are going down!
(*dont find the answer*) okay okay I wait for next one.

CLUE TIME, COME GET YER CLUES WHILE THEY'RE HOT!!
  • It is a 16-bit RPG
  • It was (and still is) only released in Japan officially
  • It released very late in its system's lifespan
  • It has a somewhat unusual grid-based combat system

Map reminds me of Tactics Ogre, Black Queen, the original SNES not the more famous sequel. Honestly the look of the horizon makes me think the world turns as you move not a flat surface (spherical) and that reminds me of the Sega Genesis but I don't think this is Shining Force or Phantasy Star.

Hmm...is it Bahamut Lagoon? Only played the beginning so I didn't see a world map but I do believe it was grid-based.

Sorry, all incorrect!
I’ll keep it going for a little while longer in case anyone wants to go for some real sleuthing.

Another clue:
It’s published by Square

Breath of Fire? 🤨
Sorry, wrong answer!
That's several in a row, I guess it's only fair for me to reveal the game by now.

The game is Treasure Hunter G ! ! !
It's a tactical RPG released in 1996, and it's an incredible showcase of the SNES, likely putting the system at its limit with how impressive it looks.
I've only played a bit myself, but it's really cool.

(I don't know what happens now though, since all my other entries have been solved!)
