Nintendo Switch
- I can't hack it or use emulators but I can use physical releases of retro games, collections that are officially released for the system. So I already have a ton of Mega Drive and Arcade games to play forever, most of my favorites too.
- Great single player library, JRPGs, modern arcade style games, platformers, shmups
- has both handheld and docked mode
- can be played both horizonal and vertical in handheld mode
- you can hook up an arcade stick to it
literally the perfect console for modern and retro gaming and you don't even have to cheat to install emulators, it has everything officially released for it
This is a topic I've discussed before actually, don't worry I'm not plugging my channel, it's just something I want to SHARE to DISCUSS because, I won't get views or money from this, 3-4 views on a long dead video won't boost anything on a non proft channel I'm just making that disclaimer so people know why I post videos. I post them to talk about them on forums primeraly.
I need to like express what I feel about the Switch and why it's among the best ways to play retro games right now, but it's also perfect for MODERN pick up and play stuff too
