Every game feels like a dreamscape with how enrichingly unique each one feels. Viviana sums it up amazingly with how experimental that console is with its games, and that is why I also love it so much.
It has such a unique sound, and when i'm feeling the mood to crack open a new game ...

i find myself booting up Duckstation, and taking a crack at yet another (or even a replay) of these absolute marvels of videogame entertainment.

i could spend months being lost in the world and sounds of moon: RPG made by Love-de-Lic, i owe so much of my personal development and what i learned to that beautiful experience that released on that system.

The hauntingly beautiful Parasite Eve, the blitzkrieg of Gungage & Ghost in the Shell, the captivating Klonoa: Door to Phantomile, the pulse-pounding shoot 'em ups of iS: Internal Section, GaiaSeed;: Project Seed Trap and Gamera 2000 and last but not least the joy of Threads of Fate, i could just go on and on about how much i love this little console.

The PlayStation 2 absolutely was the king of variety, but a large amount of that was a certain minimum quality when it comes to many titles. Too many games on there that I would play again and again and not tire of, every other library has way too few games or too many shit tier games.

Based on the rules given I'd go with Ps2 easily, though the GameCube had better versions of a few games and the Xbox had better versions of others, the library is too small in comparison.

Massive library and consistent quality for the most part.

Ghost in the Shell

This is easily one of the best titles on the ps1, hard as nails of course, but absolutely S-Tier in every single way. It uses the manga versions of everything, has animated sequences, a good story, some of the best electronic music of the pre daft punk era.

I'd probably go with the PS2, even without backwards compatibility.

The library is absolutely stacked out, so you can always be sure that you'll have something interesting to play, and it's also a pretty convenient system to play to this day.

With that criteria I have to go with the PS2. If online play is restored then theres quite a bit of gaming to be had on it. MGS3 Online anyone?

BUT if I could homebrew the thang then its a either a PS2 or Wii. Maybe Wii.

LMAOOOOOO one of the worst characters ever, just a poor man’s Seth Gecko (From Dusk Till Dawn). Shitty backstory and had no impact on the game in any way.

I’d have to say PS3, it’s very closely tied with PS2 though. The library might’ve been small but there’s quite a few games I could see myself enjoying for a long, loooong time (Like Ragnarok Odyssey, the Final Fantasy X/X-2 remasters, and the Kingdom Hearts ReMixes).

Grew up with it, and with CFW it might be the best console out there. HD, no need to solder in a modchip (my monkey brain could never RGH) and free online just sells it.

But my love for the PC-engine I would pick that one I even play all the Japanese games if I have to.
