Better then nothing though as they could easily done nothing and just let it all Disappear all togetherI doubt MiNERVA will be as good, you need some serious money to host over 390 terabytes of data and provide good speeds, and torrents are never going to be as fast or reliable/available but hopefully someone with deep pockets steps up and provides hosting, who knows right? I doubt it. I wish them success and will help seeding the stuff I have for sure.
But it's also the safest bet... Sad that we have to hide constantly to do what the internet is all about, though.yea making it torrent only was a mistake
How else would they Share these Files without it Costing a Fortune?yea making it torrent only was a mistake

For sure. It's a bummer but even without the AI-driven price hikes, Myrient wasn't sustainable in the long-term given the amount of traffic it was getting. It was a great resource though and I'm grateful to those who ran it the past few years.This.
Plus, torrents de-centralize the content, which is simply needed.
Really does remind me of pioneer sites like Home Of The Underdogs and the like — their "master file" (in which they kept games) was fifty screens long and had around 200 logins for when games were inevitably taken down from servers, so that they could be systematically replaced on-the-fly.For sure.
