I have played this game but in the DS version and I am surprised that that version does resemble the Arcade unlike the NES, GB and SNES versions that were different but in a bad way.

The Famicom/NES version is a pretty decent port of the Arcade version, although for some reason the background music is sped up compared to the Arcade version.
