*No hate @Guinea , Sonic and MM both rock, especially the blue blur. Sonic's a dude with a 'tude. I do feel like MM suffers from being a bit of a blank canvas though.

I don't see any opinion but I'd say that I'm glad that Peach doesn't end up with Mario.

I mean, it's not because he saved her life that she owes him to be in couple.

Also she's royalty and she has a lot of work to do as a governor for a kingdom to afford time for that.

In the end of the day if Mario and Peach gets married it would also mean it'd be the end of the franchise as a whole in a way.

Kinda. Mario flirted with Peach in the movie, telling her that if she ever came to Brooklyn he would buy her a pet turtle and she said "maybe I will", then Donkey Kong ruined the moment by making fun of him.

Não vejo nenhuma opinião, mas eu diria que fico feliz que a Peach não tenha ficado com o Mario.

Quer dizer, não é porque ele salvou a vida dela que ela deveria ter o direito de ficarem juntos.

Além disso, ela é da realidade e tem muito trabalho a fazer como governadora de um reino, então não tem tempo para isso.

No fim das contas, se Mario e Peach se casassem, isso também significaria, de certa forma, o fim da franquia como um todo.

Maybe collectathons or retro platformers aren't your thing.


We'll come to a point in video gaming where saying that Mario 64, FF7, OoT, MGS, SotN (and many other great classics from that epoch) are still good games would be considered as the hot take because of course we're going into a cycle where people will be contrarians for the sake of it and rejecting anything from the past and/or what was famous and highly praised.

It reminds me of how /v/ is often acting like that but I assume most are trolls.

I used to find liminal space and backroom/empty rooms in older games nice but nowadays I'm annoyed about how people overdo it when it's just that games back then had limitations so this is why they gave that empty feeling.

This became the new Creepypasta saturation.

I literally have no interest in the new and third Avatar show coming out. Korra got worse on repeat watches, and similar to Star Wars, they're milking it at this point. While not as bad as Star Wars case, I have pretty much no excitement at all. The ATLA comics: The Rift, North & South, and Imbalance are all pretty much better versions of what Korra was trying and failed to do.

Mario 64 still holds up well, and I tend to ignore the contrarians on most classic games.  Sunshine I never liked, even as kid. Galaxy 2 is just $50 dlc in disc form.

Violent Storm is the best Final Fight game Capcom never made, and shits on all of the games. I am a big fan of the original game too.

From playing the demo alone, I find Rushing Beat X so much better than Fight n Rage.

Ninja Kamui is better and more interesting than JJK, and especially Solo Leveling.

Double Dragon Gaiden & Double Dragon Revive are much better games than Double Dragon Neon.

Which is actually what it was planned to be from start (something called "Super Mario Galaxy More").

In a way I'd almost defend Galaxy 1&2 on the Switch for the sole reason you could get it in some stores for that exact price.

I ain't paying $100 for that. Special essentially when I already have the first game on Wii, and I have the 3D Mario All Stars Collection physically. That was $60 with three games altogether. Though I got lucky at Best Buy. They cut me an extra deal and I got the game for $45. They were trying to get rid of copies at that point.
