Tbh I don't mind deconstruction but the way they're written nowadays is so bad. This whole deconstruction/hyperanalysis tendency we see today about everything strikes me sometimes as a desperate attempt at validating particular viewpoints.
I'm not saying there isn't good faith in these kinds of mental exercises, but it is probably impossible to perform this free of bias and with entirely objective judgement.
If you take things at face value you are often branded a fool, or lacking in intellect by most, but this is becoming a sort of lost talent in our species - allowing ourselves the luxury of having a shred of innocence again.
Sometimes things are what they are, and people do mean what they mean, without subtext. I say this as someone that agonizes entirely too much squinting over this very thing, trying to find hidden meanings, to find the deep truth, but sometimes there isn't any.

True I don't mind that people find snakes to be cool but the way they move, which is very fast for some, is way too freaky for me to handle.I've read it couldn't qualify as one unless you're targeting a specific population.
On the other hand I don't really appreciate people asking for rather extreme methods in this topic, it's a video game forum, we shouldn't be harmful.
Agreed: A lot of time Episode 1 is a pilot so that's why they aren't great nor have set all lore elements.
Even some of them have retcons.
It's interesting that humans have an embedded fear of reptiles due to vestigial elements yet we managed to appreciate them.

I remember watching a David Attenborough documentary about iguanas trying to scurry up on rocks to escape from a horde of snakes and that was some nightmare fuel.
