Agreed. I think a lot of people have the mentality of if you're not using a physical instrument, you're not a musician. But I truly believe that some of the most forward thinking artists of our time wielded their DAWs like Rock Legends wielded their guitars. Look at J Dilla, The Avalanches, DJ Shadow, Aphex Twin, Merzbow, Flying Lotus, they all radically changed the music sphere without having used a physical instrument.
You know something, I only played Black Knight and Secret Rings recently, and I really dig Secret Rings. Black Knight was just okay, but I'm not as incensed by Sonic having a sword as some are.

This really depends on what you’re wanting. I rather enjoy video essays, but of course like anything there will be ones made to make a quick buck, or just be straight up bad.
I think they're pretty good to keep people's attention span on a decent level. The videos' quality itself can hugely vary so not much to say here but imho, in an era dominated by short content such as this one, long videos are actually beneficial regardless of the quality of the content themselves.

Keep trucking, and keep that mentality. If they don’t like who you are then they’re not worth your time anyway. You’ll find a girl with similar interests, be open, make yourself a safe person to talk to. I’ve found that people are a lot more hesitant to express what they really love due to the fear of rejection and ridicule.

Yeah, reason #1 why nobody wants to date these guys is because of their self drowning the first place. You become way more likeable (and dateable too I guess) if you stop thinking about this stuff and start improving as a person, but they don't improve because they're too stuck in this mindset. It's kind of a loop.I think when you become more confident in yourself , and adapt a better mindset than "shit im a worthless loser no woman would ever want to be with me" and adjust your manners and just work on becoming a functioning human being with good self esteem and a normal posture you can start thinking about getting along with what we call in arabic the cute gender
Self drowning in oh woo me im so bad I can't do shit won't do you no good how can you expect other people to tolerate being around you if you can't tolerate yourself to begin with? Don't bullshit me there is a million ways to improve yourself and your self image most importantly you gotta ask yourself are you mentally , financially , physically capable of holding a romantic relationship with a woman? Are you even committed to your friendships? Etc etc etc....
Once I gained more confidence and became more optimistic I got complimented for being handsome , just look at the mirror and see if this person in front of it is worth of self love or not I think yes once you "glow up" from inside you "glow up" from outside ask yourself how does the most beautiful of actors sometimes marry the most average people? If these can get together then you have a chance.
I have built enough pride that I can't stand such petty I have to go out and change the situation otherwise I be furious , I would hate to be labelled a loser some say they don't care what others think but we all know its a lie we all care what other loved ones think of us even if so little we still care and even if its not for loved ones I do it for myself to look at the mirror and say "look at these fella he is awesome" instead of saying "look at what sort of Monster you turned to you are a shame on this family" that's what I used to tell myself back then and I hated being this monster whom destructive behavior hurt and caused diseases to those around him costed them financially and mentally and physically a heavy toll....they say silent hill invites the guilty and the horrible people to redeem themselves and live their worst fears I think my past actions make me deserving of going there if it existed but thank god it doesn't XD , besides I proved to not only me but everyone around me that they were wrong that im right and very right when I said I will pass those exams the feeling of accomplishment of constructing something from your hard work is beautiful you sleep proud of who you are confident in what you can do and eager to explore the new possibilities if I a guy who wasn't able to pull off 1 push up in march 2022 can do 50-60 pushups in a row in February 2024 if I had severe social anxiety can and have enough confidence to change my shirt in middle of the street with people walking because I wore it wrong way then I think anyone here can do what I did and better.
