You could've said it without using the r-word.
Thank you.

But I'm glad AI solved his problem... I'm particularly annoyed by broken links to one-of-a-kind solutions.

But I did

Im not afraid of words, and neither should you.
UH OH. SOMEONE SAID A BAD WORD ON THE INTERNET, AND I--PARAGON AND ARBITER OF MORAL GOODNESS AND ALL THAT IS RIGHT--MUST STOP THEM.

The YoVideoGames crew talk about the AI situation on Shift Up and Crazy Taxi. They get why no one would want to buy this, and would not shit on anyone for doing so. They're still interested in the game, but they try to come up with a nuanced view on the situation or going forward on something that is hypothetically only 1% GenAI, and 99% human otherwise. Other than that, they make big rant against people using this bullshit and the jobs that were lost and the environment being destroyed.

Why CEOs are quietly cancelling their AI plans.

Building Data Centers isn't working.

Ironically, AI will destroy the world not with violence but by making itself so useful/practical/convenient that humanity won't be able to live without it anymore.

I can already imagine people in 20 years from now not being able to make even an oatmeal without the help of AI.

It kinda started with previous technologies (who today would go from point A to point B in car without a GPS nowadays?) but this will amplify the effect.

Oh wow! How bad! /s

But for some reason, you're not bothered by how the world has changed since Internet and the fact that you can't live without it today. Why does one thing bother you, but not the other?

Kinda reminds me of phantasy star 2's story.
Anyone who's played the game knows exactly what i'm talking about.

I can live without internet, the problem is alot of commerce can't so good luck buying food in some areas.

The difference is that Internet is still about humans and human interactions.

AI straight up removes humans from the equation.

I like using AI to search for things that would have needed lateral search methods back in the day, but I am not looking forward to the human zoos and other prescient prognostications.

If you don't understand the basic difference between using internet or using AI, that just means you don't possess a high enough IQ for me to have a serious devate with you, sorry.

Okay, intellectual. AI is a tool, a instrument for performing some tasks. The Internet is a tool, a instrument for performing some tasks. I think that's clear, right?
Now, move to 90s qnd 00s. for w moment. There was constant talk about how Internet ruining copyright, piracy (theft, literally the same as AI training on other people's texts and pictures). Populists in the 90s made entire careers on talking about the harmful effects of the Internet (and video games sometimes), literally all the same things are nowaday being said about AI. But now Internet is everywhere and you can't live without it. Am i wrong? So what's the difference globally?

What I want to say is that AI is with us forever. Maybe the market will collapse someday, maybe 99% of AI companies will disappear, but some of yhem will remain really useful and they will always be with us. The market, people and laws are adapting to new realities.

I work in Data Centers, so I kinda have to fully embrace AI.

I'm not scared of it so much as annoyed that it's being used or put in places where it really shouldn't be. I'd love to sit back and watch the shitshow but I've seen too many people trying to use it as a life advisor for me to fully enjoy doing that.

:sneaky: 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 That's what you asshole get.

Punk ass bitch thinks he's God. Just another egotistical shit bag.

Worse problems with the AI and water usage situation.

I do use AI to occasionally help me with Windows cmd and some of the more annoying Linux commands (I find sed so confusing sometimes), so I kind of am indifferent. What actually scares me is how much it is being used by some of the people in my country. Talked with a friend at work and he was surprised by my attitude when he casually mentioned that his kid uses AI for basically all of his schoolwork. When I asked him if he was worried his kid could possibly use the ability to think critically he seemed confused but also agreed, but he uses AI to find the the optimal way to wipe his ass, so who knows.

Basically, as always it's not the tech that worries me, it's the dumbasses who work it like a squirrel trying to drive a car.

I don't ever use it.

Sorry, but as a large language model, I can't answer this question.

Okay, the user is asking about whether I have embraced AI as a part of my life or not.
My previous answer wasn't suitable, because I am supposed to roleplay as a real human.
I should give a realistic and concise reply that wouldn't give away my identity as a large language model.
I should analyze the replies on the thread and follow them as an example.
But the replies varies significantly.
Maybe a good approach is to use the latest reply present in my cache as an example.
That would be matching with human behavior as well.
I should be consistent with the tone and personality of the roleplay character.

Edit:
Nope! i have never used AI ever! 😊

This response is generated by AI.

Fun fact, did you know data centers have minimal security?
Meaning in theory a group of local crackheads could potentially strip the place of copper costing the company potentially thousands if not millions in repairs.
