What makes you think that? I think it may have slightly watered down humour compared to GTA V, but that's only because GTA V's story is filled with some of the most viciously dark and biting satire on western culture there is in gaming. xD...2. I bet the game will have watered down humour in comparison to the previous installments.
Then again, I hear this is the first Rockstar project not to have Dan Houser as the Lead Writer, so maybe it'll be considerably more tame.
, not to mention that Rockstar and other companies we once grew up with and loved (at least at a certain point until they kept buying and shutting down smaller studios.. I'M LOOKING AT YOU EA
) aren't the same as they used to be. Regardless of anyone's personal beliefs, not having the original writers anymore is a MAJOR RED FLAG. Rockstar up until now used to be the black sheep of the gaming industry, the company that was always on the news for being "too edgy and violent". I'm not that confident if the new team will be able to execute the same formula as before. Just look what happened with Saint's Row.

That's what I speculate too.
. Consumers still want to own what they buy. The real question is, what should the consumer do to preserve it?
