Good game, bad port

Games on gamecube wasn't bad but because of CD system and storage a lot of them ignored.
One tragic fall of king of video game Nintendo from the top of mountain.
They wanted to curb piracy, and it worked for a time, but it cost them. That said, it wasn't the game medium. No one was taking the crown from the PS2.

Before the gamecube Nintendo defeated the Sega and their Nintendo 64 was a great success.
Gamecube had lowest sell against xbox and ps. I know later Wii take them up again but gamecube was a mistake a bit. If they actually make the system of CD better and work more on hardware I think even if ps2 was great(it is great actually) Nintendo have something to show.

Is the Nier Automata PC port still bad? I remember laughing at my friend for buying it full price, and it barely running.

Also, i remember the Dark Souls Prepare to Die PC version being bad without Durante's fixes.

There is also the PC and Saturn ports of House of The Dead 1, which look VERY bad.
