Props to Sony for trying something that is at least a little bit different. Really hoping this game takes a more linear approach and doesn't try to bloat its content with a bunch of rushed side quests and such. Really though, It makes me SO mad that pretty much every modern PlayStation exclusive does that type of thing! Although, even if that wish does come true, I haven't been the biggest fan of the story or combat either

As for Nordic games, I’m not really interested in playing them since they seem very similar to other Western AAA games and have nothing particularly distinctive about them, so I’m just not that interested.

I think they're incredibly shallow and dull when compared to DMC 1, 3, 4, and 5, Ninja Gaiden I and II, and Bayonetta 1 and 2 (I've never played Bayonetta 3, so I can't comment on that one)

Bayonetta 3 is better than all of the GoW games, but it does have some pacing issues and gameplay issues that does not make it as good as the first two games. Mainly the second game, which I consider the best in the franchise.

Man...seeing what happened from my comment onwards felt like watching a car crashing in real time. Now you guys see why i just say "whatever floats your boat" nowadays, is my way of saying "yeah i'm not really a fan of it, but sure dude, have fun". And i learned to be like that from real life experience, because i will not criticize people's tastes or takes on subjects, don't get me wrong now, yeah it sucks and most of the time they're wrong, but they have the right to be wrong and suck, as long as they don't start to throw shade at my stuff i'm fine with it. I agree, I don't like God of War and I think it's an incredibly shallow and boring series, but I think attacking people who like it is pretty shitty.

God of War without Kratos is like a new Scooby Doo show without Scooby Doo (like what they did with Velma). It feels wrong. At this point, why not make an entire different game?
Not that it will be necessary a bad game, it looks like a fine hack n slash game, but not a God Of War one

That was written and directed by a dumb ass fuckhead who hated the franchise and its fans. That the difference. Shaggy and Scooby Get A Clue didn't do well either, and it was done by fans who cared. Other than Scooby and Shaggy being the title characters, it felt lacking and not like a Scooby show at all. The only difference, it was at least done by people who cared. Yes, it's different kind of GoW game, but Barlog clearly does not hate the legacy, nor its characters.

God Of War one

It is a GoW game. A canon spinoff and different character. People consider Metal Gear Rising a Metal Gear game even though Solid Snake nor Naked Snake aren't mentioned nor involved. Though Solid Snake is given some minor implications in an optional codec call late game. A call you have to go out of your way to find, and you're not going to think about getting on your first playthrough.
