i feel like these cases are just the effects of the uncanny valley, where trying to copy someones look in a game wholesale just doesnt look 100 percent right in certain shots.
could be, but Sony developed games have had a consistent trend of poorly representing their facial models for quite some time now. So either they're doing it on purpose or they're just incompetent.
Kratos is also insufferable and far less charismatic than Dante, Bayonetta, and Ryu Hayabusa.OG God of War is also mid asf, I'm sorry lok, But DMC, Tomonobu Itagaki Ninja Gaiden and Bayonetta are way better and more engaging hack and slash games than God of War I, II, III and the PSP games (and that other God of War game from the PS3 that I don't remember the name) OG God of War is just really boring and dull imo

Glad they're going forward with a side story, and not doing a prequel of Freya's past. Also, the jump button is back now, and you can do air combos! This will make the combat age much better compared to the previous Norse games. I am liking what is on offer here, and it's nice to finally play a character who isn't Kratos or Atreus, and you get the play her through the whole game. I am sure there might be a minor deviation where you're playing as the cube or the ribbons attached to the sword or whatever, but I can roll with that.
FTR: If certain people are not excited, that's fine, but don't come up here for "smart/smart ass" comments about "linear hallways", "it's a movie with no gameplay", and "forced walking sections (not defending the third example, but nothing new is being said here)". Lied about the Wukong team being sexist, dogged Stellar Blade because it's got an attractive character. Stole artwork. Used to work for ign. Just an all around miserable person.
For as much as im sick of the whole "female character design discourse" i will admit, i think she just looks too normal for god of war. especially as the other characters in the norse series have decent and distinct designs
Yea she looks like she going to give you a side quest at best. She doesn't look like main character in an action game
I actually don't think this game will sell well, it could have as a smaller budget spinoff and if it's looked less boring
