here are a million games to be played new or otherwise, I don't need this slop. You're the one being nonsensical here, you're dying on a hill you haven't even been to yet, and clearly upset that not everyone wants this new God of War game.
Based on the way you've been responding I'm willing to put money on this having less to do with God of War and more to do with ideology.
HAAHAHAHAHAH!!!Fine if you're interested, but it's not slop (another word that loss meaning and is applied to anything some bitch in a boxstand does not like without even trying it), but if a female being in a lead role bothers you that much. You might as well come out and say it. The only "ideology" is hey we're doing something different and having you play character that was core part of the two new entries, even though we don't see her much in those. You're just making it shit up to be angry about. Sounds like a projection on your part. And you said I was "mad". Then you clearly have no reason to be here, if the game upsets you that. And yes, not everyone is looking forward to the newest entry, but a few loud mouths on social media don't count. Considering how well all three previous games have done, this is going to do well too.
Not bothering with Roy, because he has nothing interesting say, so I am ignoring him.
Wow dude, real mature discussion you're having there about your modernslop movie game which has humanity that no game had before.
You're not adding to conversation at all, and I am not afraid to enjoy a modern game, be they AAA, AA, or indie. So long as they don't try to screw the people over with timed season passes or "live service". I've already stated my dislike with most AAA games, but I am no snob who follows the words of people with axes to grind to begin with, nor "speak nothing, but the truth/tell it like it is".
You can have whatever opinion on the game at hand but there's no need to ragebait each other.
I never intended ragebaiting. all I did was lay out some ground rules and having no nonsense for parroted opinions/made up conspiracy that have nothing to do with anything. Like we've seen with the color purple.
One last thing, because I got some business to take of today and will be out for a long while: but I did have similar feelings with
GoW4 got announced in 2016. I was scared, or thought action games would die, and I did have blind hatred from the start. Not helping was a YouTuber at the time I did enjoy and subscribe from (which I had to get away from [thankfully early enough], because he got more toxic and up his own asshole as the years went on) convincing me. Though as the game got closer to release, I realized what I was becoming and didn't want that, and at least wanted to give the game a chance. I did not want to be like the gaming journalist who hated/dismissed anything Japanese or games from Japan. So I manned the fuck up and gave the game a chance on my own terms. I enjoyed the game, depsite its issues and consider both great overall, even though
Ragnarok does have some pacing issues. Are there games better than
GoW or the entire franchise as a whole? Yes, but that does not make them bad nor lesser inherehntly.
Laufey is already fixing some issues I had with prior Norse games. An actual jump button and looks to be some actual platforming that will happen because of it. I am not saying it's going to have the most amazing or original platforming ever made, but they are improving, and I am glad air combos are back now. I am sure there will be some issues, but nothing to cause a tragedy nor worth having the biggest bitch fit over.
