Games You Finished in 2026

Trails Beyond The Horizon
Castlevania
GTA 3
Red Dead Redemption
Dishonored
GTA LCS

and some cool demo like mightreya or homura hime

I finished SD Gundam Gaiden Knight Gundam Monogatari 3: Densetsu no Kishi-Dan on the NES. Is it a hot take to say that I think this is the best of the NES Knight Gundam RPGs? I think it is. Honestly, it's a lot of fun and I thought it was a good adaption. Yeah, it's probably easy if you're a hardcore NES JRPG player, but I think it's enjoyable for what it is.

Highly recommended

AKIBA'S TRIP: Undead & Undressed. It's kind of the poster child for shamelessly trashy Vita exclusives (or former exclusives, I should say, I finished a playthrough on the Switch's Director's Cut), but that's also kind of what makes it endearing, while also being a pretty solid beat-em-up. It's also surprisingly tame, despite the premise, focusing more on being a send-up of otaku culture than anything else. I spent half my playthrough cosplaying Dejiko from Di Gi Charat.

Unless you're aiming to play Kati's route, I would actually recommend the original Vita version over the Director's Cut; there are a ton of in-game flyers, ads, and banners for stuff like Disgaea, Super Sonico, then-recent Vita games, and even Zuntata album releases that were just cut wholesale from the Switch release. Most egregious are the loading screen splashes that show up while fast-traveling being replaced with the generic loading screen animation. It's nothing game-ruining, but it does detract from the whole "exploring a virtual Akihabara" vibe a bit.

1. DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3
2. Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja 5
3. Fight Night Round 3

currently revisiting games on PS2

I beat Disgaea 2 and 3 within a seven day window and my brain is completely fried.

What's the point of people saying "none" lol
Just say when you do.

So far I've beat
* Advanced Dungeons & Dragons - Eye of the Beholder (SCD)
* Mai-HiME something or other (PSP)

These were for the Random Game Challenge for this forum. Check it out sometime, we need more brave players.

I finished Chapter 8. The final chapter of Romeo Is A Dead Man. WTF did I just fight? Fun game, but this is not Grasshopper's best in terms of gameplay. The bosses are by far the weakest out of Suda or Grasshopper's entire catelouge. Maybe outside of bosses from Killer7. For Suda fans, I still recommend it, but if you're not into these type of games, then either wait on a sale, or don't play at all if their games do nothing for you. I'll post my full thoughts later.

I was planning on playing this one ages ago and I even planned on doing it first yet I ended up doing The Wily Wars on the Genesis and the other NES/SNES/PSX/Wiiware titles.

But I'm glad I've done it at last.

And I've done those two Kirby games I haven't done in many years (the first at 100% for the first time as I've already 100%-ed the later one)

Powered Up's boss rematches are a slog from what I remember, mainly because you're not given health pickups like you have in almost every other Mega Man game. Even MM&B had sections with respawnable enemies to farm.

That said, still really like this remake and it's art direction. It's a shame it and Maverick Hunter X never got follow-ups.

Finished Dark Souls 3 finally after 7 months. God, I'm tired...
Not gonna play anything for a while.

So far, I’ve mostly been beating arcade games. Doesn’t mean I haven’t been playing longer games! But longer games take, well, longer!

I will soon be completing Banjo-Kazooie: Nostalgia 64 though. Great hack! Would recommend! I’ll probably post detailed thoughts elsewhere, because I have issues with it, but I do recommend downloading it.

Just finished Ninja Gaiden Ragebound on PS5. Didn't think I was gonna pull it off. Last boss, literally; kicked his ass with 0 life left. Litertally ZERO life. I was jumping all over the place, on him, his hands, the exposed ribs, explosions. When my life got to zero I was gonna give up, and I was like, "Nah, I'm gonna keep going till I die for reals!" It was really a WTF moment. And my hands were cramping from all the bouncing off every hit the fucker threw at me.

Hard NO for going through again on Hard mode. Unless I hear something else other than you get the real ending, I'm not motived to put myself through it again.

True crime New York City (PS2)
100% completed and finally beat the unlockable bonus game.

GTA clone and glitchy but isn't that bad and has a killer soundtrack I give it 7/10

Nah, you BECAME the ninja in real life with that victory. You deserve to rest after a fight like that!

So far, I've played Turbo Overkill, Uncharted 3, Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland, and Castlevania Bloodlines. I've also been playing Hades 2 which is somewhat endless, and Divinity Original Sin 2 which has been awesome.

I've finally finished my first game of 2026, Banjo Kazooie(N64). Hope to have more time to play in the next days😅

Last night I beat Sonic Heroes.

I have a lot of nostalgia for this game and I enjoyed it, but there definitely was a lot of problems with it.

The real villain isn't even Metal Sonic, it's the slippery controls and the camera.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't curious about the game that would've been made if they had all the money and time they needed at their disposal while working on it. Like I do think each of the teams should've either had a few exclusive levels or at least go to them in a different order.

I do think it's a fun game to check out, though.

Have you played wia the undub?

I wish there was a new hack that could try fixing the "slipperiness" and make it so you'll only have to do the game with Team Sonic to be able to access the Final Episode (since Team Rose is basically Tutorial/Easy Mode, Team Dark is Hard Mode and Team Chaotix is Mission Mode).

I think that Team Sonic and Team Rose should be the only ones available, beating with Team Rose would only allow for Final Episode to be open while Team Sonic and/or Final Episode would unlock Team Dark and beating it with them (or Final Episode) unlocks Team Chaotix as a hidden Team not shown on the menu.

So much of that!

Team Rose should have had less levels (or just the "Act 1" of each world), Team Dark should've done the level in reverse order since you start in one of Eggman's base to finally finish with an exclusive boss and Team Chaotix should've started in the more urban areas and slowly gone through the more natural looking levels.

Sonic Heroes is one of those games that can be fun, but a lot of the time you have to really baby the engine so the game doesn't completely fall apart on you. Especially if you want to go for A Ranks, you need to know where scripting can break (entering corkscrews a certain way, some of the vines in Lost Jungle just completely locking your controls if you're in a certain formation, etc).

It's my first Sonic game, so it's impossible for me to hate it, but I would never recommend it to someone to introduce them to the series.

Seconding this. Sonic Rush even did this with Blaze's campaign, where she started the game at Sonic's Zone 4.
