Games you bought a whole system for?

Yeah, that is why I would not count it as that, I just did play it and liked especially the Katherine stuff. I would if I answer honestly end up in Katherine normal end or so. Indeed the added stuff does feel added, Qatherine included. Apparently PVP is also very different and competitively better in original. I do have both games so it is whatever. I DID buy it from sale after a long while from it's release to give what enthusiasm I had for the rerelease hydration version. I did add in the DLC/Deluxe pack stuff because Rina Sato Catherine. I am OK not paying the full price for it versus collector's edition I bought of PS3 Catherine. Still have those goodies.
Cool. I wish I had kept the original, but now it probably costs a pretty penny for the Xbox 360 version.

Splatoon sold me the Switch, I thought it looked cool but I had a PS3 instead of a Wii U. Fast forward 6 years and now I hate Splatoon.

Dynasty Warriors 2 for the PS2. When I was young, I found a playable kiosk at some store while I was waiting for my mom at the mall. It was opened on Hu Lao Gate and the selected character was Guan Yu. I only got a few minutes, but I had to have a PS2 for more of that afterward. DW3 later went on to be one of my most played games ever.

OK, let me remember...

I bought a Switch Lite only to play Monster Hunter Rise with my friends, first and last time I ever got FOMO'd 😭 the damn game then released on PC and we all bought it again.

The og Ninja Gaiden is such a good game!

Every day I'm still trying to sell myself on the Dreamcast, despite having hardware and a pile of games. Half of the fun around that platform was shaking out of the hype in the magazines at the time. The demo discs. The potential that Sega wouldn't fuck things up and would step up to kick ass.

Wipeout 2048 and Ninja Gaiden Sigma sold me on the PS Vita.

Back in the day Golden Axe sold me on the Genesis
Final Fight CD sold me on the Sega CD
Daytona USA sold me on the Saturn
Symphony of the Night and Gran Turismo sold me on PS1
Ninja Gaiden sold me on Atari Lynx
Sengoku sold me on the Neo Geo

I dodged getting a PS4 until N Sane Trilogy came out. Had to get a system for a new Crash release.

My buddy sold his PS5 to me, and I bought it solely to play Ratchet and Clank. Sold that system, and still have yet to finish Rift Apart on PC.

Don't laugh at me but I bought a 32X just to play Knuckles Chaotix. I had fun with the game though (Yes, I know it's not good), and there's some really good arcade ports available for the 32X.

I had a Xbox 360 back then, but I bought a PS3 only to play God of War 3 and Hatsune Miku project diva... I was totally worth it.

I bought a Wii in 2010 entirely because I just had to play the GoldenEye remake.

Honestly, it was worth it - game was pretty good. I think a lot of people had complaints it was like COD with a GoldenEye skin but the only CODs I'd played were a couple of the PS2 ones from 2005, 2006.

Well, I bought the Xbox360 mainly for DBZ: Burst Limit back in the day. I didn't like the game at the end, but thanks to that I got to experience many other wonderful games!
