Does it really rain that much in Great Britain?
Yes, especially at the North of Britain, during the spring months it can rain for 10~15 days of the months, but usually only for two or three days at a time, and it is rarely constant. :]

Hmm, it must be so cozy to sit by the window with a cup of tea and just watch the rain outside.

WHAT THE FUCK IS A KILOMETERRRRRRRRRR

1Km (Kilometer) = 1000m (Meter)
1m (Meter) = 10dm (Decimeter)
1dm (Decimeter) = 10cm (Centimeter)
1cm (Centimeter) = 10mm (Milimeters)

Here are the european secrets that you asked for .

This deal cant be refused or reversed ...

Another such secret is also if you plan on moving and your name is Miles you're legally required to change it to Kilometers.

Thank you.

Sorry OP for derailing the topic a bit.

As for Antarctica this continent has been quite fascinating how it's one of the few places that mankind couldn't have "settled" for real outside of small laboratories.

And it's quite a vast land

Not exactly true, humans with the right will and planning could in fact have settled antarctica, at least the coast (some native american groups live in similar conditions in canada and alaska), the main reason it never happened is likely because just reaching antarctica is near impossible without modern tech, the rapids around antarctica are known to be fierce for even modern ships.

We Asians are in the minority here......them latins and Europeans are overwhelming here
If we combine North and South than the Americans would absolutely dominate on this Forum.

RIP everyone from Mu, Zaelandia, Atlantis, Hyperborea, Lemuria and many other continents and landmasses that are not real:

Zealandia actually has evidence of existing at one time, specifically as a landbridge between australia and asia and there actually is a sunken continent off the coast of africa but it was likely never occupied by humans.
Hyperborea is the odd man out, we actually do have a bit of evidence of the land called it existing, but no evidence of the actual landmass where it was claimed to be.

Atlantis is a bit of a wild card as it could be anywhere in the medeterrainian or atlantic with some thinking the canary islands is the remnant of it.

I'm from North America.

Also Atlantis is such a funny thing for people to theorize as real because like...Plato just made that shit up in like the 300s BC as allegories about nations and their hubris. No joke you go and read those original works, where he describes Atlantis as being an island beyond the 'pillars of Heracles' that was 'bigger than Libya and Asia' (keep in mind that 'Libya' was all of North Africa west of the Nile River and 'Asia' was basically just Anatolia) and that Atlantis was on its way to conquer 'all of Europe and Asia' and that Atlanteans ruled Libya 'as far as Egypt' and Europe 'as far as Tyrrhenia' (part of what is now Italy). Which means we'd have to have had this massive (for the time) empire (with no one ever finding any archeological evidence of such an empire)...and Plato's works that mention Atlantis establish that this shit happened like 9000 years in the past so like the 9300s BC...and Atlantis was at war with Athens, a city that didn't even exist as a major city-state until like the 1500s BC, so basically 8000 years later. Also somehow Athens, literally a city-state, single-handedly defeated an entire continent's armies.

Like nothing about Atlantis, when you actually read how Plato described it, sounds remotely like something that could have existed (because it didn't) but people ignore all that shit and just cherrypick the stuff that sounds plausible lmao.

I was making a joke about most of them but while Zealandia used to exist I think we should still count the landmasses above the sea level.

So there are people who STRONGLY belive that Atlantis is real?
I'm not mocking those people, but why?
It won't affect their lives in any meaningful way, nor is that information be useful.

I'd take that over flat earther or antivaxx personally.

On a side note I'm surprised how people are separating North America from South America despite that it's fundamentally the same continent. Geographically it's one big landmass but I can understand that geopolitically and culturally those are two different things (like how we tend to separate Eastern Europe from Western Europe as well as the Middle East from the Far East).

What surprised me is finding out that UAE is part of Asia..

I used to think the Middle East was part of Africa when I was younger...

But yeah, it's a peninsula and basically a sub-continent like India.
Post automatically merged:

So this may explain why there are some differences about how some part of the world sees the whole thing:

It's like the Caribbean, is part of North America as a subregion in geography but culturally and politically, it's not. And the people from there are refer to as Caribbean people or West Indians
