@Pandaprewmaster325 I mean... Final Fantasy VII has a bunch of ports, which are the same game with some problems inherent to Square being incapable of porting old console games properly.
The first 6 games got a lot less confusing to play when Squenix released them all in the form of the pixel remasters. Those versions are widely available in modern systems, and those are the versions everyone is going to play. They are (mostly) rebuilt from scratch. Graphics are almost entirely new, and they run on a new engine. These versions will be around forever because they were made from fairly portable tech (Unity).
But people like you who're willing to emulate any platform are minority. For nearly everyone the pixel remasters are the easy choice.
