I must be stupid or something.
I wandered around Fort Condor and the surrounding area multiple times before I finally found Junon. I played the game a long time ago, but on the PS1, not this PC port port, and I swear I remember the location being a lot closer and in a different direction. I wonder if they changed the map for the PC port.

Also I can't seem to find and recruit Yuffie, but I might hold off anyway so I can use her to wrong warp. The goal is to wrong warp into the debug room so I can change some values, and eventually take Yuffie on the date, but I don't know if I'll be able to do both honestly. I may have to skip getting her for awhile, and I still don't know if I'll be able to do both the Yuffie date and the Wutai sidequest. So many questions.

they might have made some changes; i doubt it, but it's possible. i'll do some checking and see.
i think yuffie shows up in forest areas. that where i encountered her. and where my dislike of her started to grow.

i was playing the ff7 demake and there was a very cute flower merchant selling some reasonably priced flowers. she was very charming so i bought one. i then decided to make a drawing based off of this character.

She fooled me twice yes i was pissed that i got made fun of by an underage tomboy ninja but come on man she ain't bad she is really funny and her stealing my materia although very annoying didn't hurt that much cuz i spent 3 days running around looking for the Blackstone before finally recruiting her prior to finding it i grinded these storm eagles to death , yuffie is goated man.

Cuz , i never liked cait sith found him bothersome in fact when he gave the Blackstone to shina ra i stripped him of all materia and never had him in the party again , fuck cait sith he did redeem himself but still....

i messed up so much trying to recruit her that she took most of my materia. that was very annoying and frustrating during my first and only playthrough of the game.

Same i only played FF7 once really all FF games i played only once , what i did was use emulator save to choose different responses after i had her name screen pop up (still got fooled) but yeah after that it was smooth sailing (aside from stolen materia)

nope. first time playing the game. a friend of mine has all of the psx final fantasy games and he let me borrow ff7, 8 and 9. i got to the end of disc 1 for 8, the safer sephiroth battle in 7 and i ended up beat 9 sometime later. and then again on the psp. and now i'm slowly working on beating the pc and switch editions.

What IS the best way to experience final fantasy III???

Howdy folks, i've recently gone on a journey of self reflection, and i've come out on the other end as a final fantasy fan. for two decades now i've been writing final fantasy off as a generic rpg series, but now i have seen the light, and now i know it's a super killer series with a lot of variety and cool ideas. as of now, i've fully completed Final Fantasy I, II, IV, and V, and i'm working my way through VI, IX and X as we speak. you might've noticed a little gap in that lineup, though.

man, i just cant decide how i wanna play FFIII. i tried doing the nes version, but got frustrated at the part where you're required to turn yourself mini to complete two bullshit dungeons. (plus, retroarch steam nuked my save, so i lost all the progress i had made anyways.) every other game from the original lineup of 6 has a mostly faithful remake on the GBA, with the exception of FFIII... which got a DS remake. unlike the GBA remakes, the DS remake of FFIII changed a bunch of fundamental stuff about the game, and i don't know how i feel about that. i know the pixel remaster is also an option, but i'm currently unemployed and am trying to spend as little money as possible.

so, i ask you, forum: what is the best way to play FFIII? should i stick with the NES version? is the DS version still worth playing despite it changing a bunch of stuff? or is the pixel remaster that much better that its worth spending the money on?

I don't know anything about the differences between pixel and remake (apart graphics, of course), my first and only experience with FF3 has been with the ds remake and I've loved it; there's also a psp version (better, I think it has more extras while keeping the gameplay the same as the ds, also in the psp you probably won't need any cheat to obtain an item that required multiplayer on the ds version)

I believe it's all up to you and your preferences, but whichever you choose I hope you'll enjoy this ff as well and also congrats for discovering this awesome series :)
