Long story shorts I remember playing SFII a ton on a SNES emulator and while I've heard about the Alpha series and Third Strike I've never really followed the franchise up until I heard about Super Street Fighter IV and I ended up buying the 3D Edition for the 3DS because I really wanted to try it out.I forgot to say that I've bought Ultra Street Fighter IV because it was in sales.
I'm impressed how decent of a port that was despite being made for the Xbox 360 and PS3. Of course the game is less pretty and the backgrounds aren't animated but whatever, the foreground is what's the most important about a FTG (I'd even say that 3D backgrounds like in MvC2 and CvS2 are distracting imo).
It's funny how I've only recently got to play the Alpha series 5-6 years ago with the Collection and I didn't know that SFIII was also in 2D (I knew EX on the PSX was in 3D at least).
Honestly I'm not a big fan of the Street Fighter franchise and sadly as much as Alpha and III tried to have a more interesting story (like Ryu overcoming the Satsui no Hado) it's clear that Capcom reverted back to a simpler storyline in IV and I don't know what V and VI are even about.
I'm not asking for a deep and complex story but something more than just "big evil organisation does a tournament" kind of plot.
Aside from the added characters what's the big difference between Super SF IV and Ultra SF IV?
, I'll add them later in the future.
looking forward to playing her in SF6.
