Help easiest way to emulate sega saturn?

I used ssf for a while(you need to mess with virtual drives)... Changed to mednafen when I emigrated to linux, you may want a front end if you don't want to mess with keyboard commands and a command line interface

Works awesome on ymir v0.1.2. I'm using AVX2-Win32 port.

If you want to play the most acurately and nearly without bugs:
Mednafen plus Mednaffe GUI,
could use Bizhawk (simplest way) or Beetle Saturn core with Retroarch, they are ports of mednafen but with differences.

If you want to up the resolution you could try YabaSanshiro or Kronos (standalone or Retroarch core)

If you want the most simple follow the guide that Spike linked up on his comment.

Also to keep an eye on Ymir emulator, could end up being the best one.

I picked-up as Saroo on the cheap recently. Works very well, though just like a regular Action Reply you can't push it in all the way or the system won't recognize it.
If I still had a Saturn I'd try that. Are there any flashcarts for Gamecube?

The links are broken for me too and have been so for a while
I checked now and downloaded the Saturn Bios without problem. Perhaps is your internet connection/browser/addons? You could try with a download manager?

Seems to be a problem with chrome, had no trouble on edge. Or maybe it's an addon, cheers

Not exactly, but you can run games off the memory card via SD, but it requires a bit of modding I think:
Note that these videos are 3 & 2 years old respectively, so there may have been an update since. It's something I've not bothered with after modding my Wii.

Yeah, I MODDED MY WII, NINTENDO! BRICK THIS! 🖕

most likely anti-malware or malicious prevention is incorrectly blocking the links because of binary type shenanigans
Yeah, I just disable the Safe Browsing option of the browser, is mostly spying from the corps.

Also if Mednafen (or its ports) have some problem, or your PC is old, could try SSF as backup for accuracy.

Or Nova (Windows only), and Ymir are interesting options too.

Chrome also has built in malware protection most of which can't be accessed and only Google knows how they really work.

Are you referring to Sega Titan Video or Video CD Card?
If your concern is about a certain game compatibility such as Lunar, Kronos can emulate it.
For example @ https://forums.libretro.com/t/how-do-saturn-games-that-require-mpeg-cards-work/34948
Yes, I meant the Video CD card or MPEG card for playing Lunar Complete or other games that use it.
I read that thread and they say that Lunar Complete hangs in-game without the card.
Plus I had performance problems with Kronos standalone. Perhaps I could try with Kronos on Retroarch.

This emulator has "baked" in mpeg-rom support is this @ https://www.patreon.com/file?h=118648844&m=396551051

I'm not sure if there is even a known dump of the video cd card unless otherwise...
Either way Nova has built in mpeg-rom support

Yeah I was only testing.
Nova isn't mature enough and the performance is not good on my PC, but with its HLE bios and separately with the Hi-Saturn one I succeeded to boot Lunar SS Complete. With the other emulators I had no luck.

Also it seems that theres is no Video Card bios circulating on the internet.

If only someone could share a bios for the VCD Card...
Could the Hi-Saturn bios work as a replacement for that?
Yes, the GameNavi HiSaturn works for that
Post automatically merged:

Yaba Sanshiro 2

Boots with HiSaturn bios but black screen
Any luck with other emulators besides Nova?
