I am really happy to see you happy with this translation! As I myself have experienced the same feeling so many times!! Metal Max Reloaded, Tengai Makyou Zirya, Samurai Spirits RPG, Growlanser and the recent Draglade 2!! So many great games, finally in a language that I can understand and enjoy!! (But alas, I need to learn Japanese someday, as there are a PLETHORA of great RPGs that are nearly impossible for the brave heroes of the fan translation to cover! There are TOO many!!) If I come up with a list right now it would be more than 50th titles worth playing for lots of different reasons!!

Full Metal Alchemist 3 for PS2! Lots of voice acting in this one, and also the cel shading graphics looks good.

when you get around to it. I followed MrMario's guide on it. Helped that I had a spare HDD lying around. I accidentally bought a clone Network Adaptor that doesn't have an ethernet port on it though. Even after buying the conversion kit for when it came too. Damn.

I have the Ps2 slim not the fat model I wonder if I still can install custom firmware or if I have to turn on the mod external every time via external flash drive ?

Yes it is possible. But I modded mine once, but it was only the pen drive that I installed once. But when I did that back them, most games had lots of issues with the cutscenes. So I decided too leave it there as it was and did not touch it for a long time ago! I think the reason is that the most recent PCSX2 runs sooo good!! Everything looks better, because we can run at 1080pp instead of the comon 480pp!
I am really into pixel art and 2D graphics. So it is really hard for me to go back to the PS2! The console has amazing sprite based games, such as Odin Sphere, Tales Of Destiny Directors Cut andTales Of Rebirth comes to mind....
Althoug there are some 3D ones that really impresses me to this day!!
Dragon Quest VIII, Kingdom Hearts II and Radiata Stories are very impressive games that have aged gracefully and still impresses me to this day!!

There was a third one of these? Man, I need to move the other PS2 titles up in the backlog to prepare for this one now.

From my experience with just the anime and movie, I remember a lot of '03 era FMA's non-cannon stuff and side content always managed to be interesting by virtue of giving us more of a really rich setting. Here's to hoping the trilogy's on the good side of the "filler" and not the other side with the dumb parts that I repress memories of!

I read the title of this thread in the voice of the Professor from Futurama.

It's always good to see another game get translated, especially a big name like Fullmetal Alchemist.

On one hand great! I've been dying to play this I found out about it a very long time ago.
On the other, I'm a bit sad I won't get to hear the English VA for FMA in this one.
But, I have zero doubts it's going to be a blast to play! I might go ahead and get the previous two PS2 entries and do a binge spree.
