Basically massive interests for something.
It can be for a activity, franchise (video games, movies, etc.) or somewhat else in which constantly think about.
I remember when i was a child i wenr crazy my family with Pokemon and i played Fire Red and Emerald endlessly and have both games stucked in my brain.
Later, i went to other game franchises that caused interest on me but not were hyperfixations like Kirby, Rayman or Sonic.
But now i have a sweet spot for Mega Man and currently trying to play all the games.

CRT TVs and stuff that is displayed on them. And everything related to outputting video to a CRT TV.
... CRT TVs and CRT TV accessories.
I fear that one day I'll develop the type of hubris that will make me believe I can fix broken CRT TVs, then, sooner or later I'll get myself electrocuted.

Monster Hunter, and still is to this day. The grind on that shit is so damn unfair that make me keep playing more, although since I have less patience now, I installed cheat/mod that make the droprate more "fair".

Hunting hard but fair monster is motivation to keep playing by itself, I love AT Velkhana, and on my Gunlance savefile it has ~60 AT Velk slain. F::firecking hate the bloated HP in World tho.

At one point, I forgot to eat and pull all-nighter because I'm too focused on MHFU (G-Rank shit). Had to stop as it was so bad on my mental health and general well-being.

I think the culture of the 2000s includes games, movies, programming, animation, and anime.I also enjoy several games that people consider old and uninteresting, even though they marked my childhood and my generation.

I keep telling myself I won't have a massive binge for Pokemon games but then it keeps happening, if almost unconsciously.

A very cool someone uploaded a collection of the Moemon hacks to the Repo recently and a week passes and I kept playing more and more of them and my only thoughts are " ... Oh god dammit."

Pokemon... It was all I'd ever talk about in 2014.

Thank GOD, those posts cannot be tracked back to me now xD

Also, strangely, the 44th Austrian Infantry Division Hoch - Und Deutschmeister — I read everything I could get my hands on regarding the topic, including their battles across the Eastern Front.

I was and still am fairly obsessed with the lore around the Battletech/Mechwarrior franchise, probably because there's so damn much of it

Also weirdly obsessed with Hamburglar, the LGMs from Toy Story, and Buzz's Utility Belt from Toy Story 2

Just realized that you changed your username lol.
History is pretty interesing to know. Here in Argentina we have some interesing stuff like the death of Eva Perón if you want to know.

Impervious world building. Anything that has plausible world building and is just removed enough from reality, but not too removed. I will accept a monkey can fight the gods and win, but I will absolutely not accept a child going to a wizard school to be told where he should go by a talking hat. I am almost impossible to market anything to::hellmo, but anything that fist that criteria I can become obsessed with

Frank Herbert has ruined me ::nervous-prinny

So much of what I love stems from either Journey to the west, Blade runner(and by extension works of Moebius) and a very large segments of what I like is either an homage to Dune, a rip off of Dune or flat out is unlicensed Dune. Frank Herbert's 6 books only. If you know, you know :)

I mostly rotate through my few obsessions for the most part so I do hyper fixate, but almost in shifts::cirnoshrug

Obviously Tokusatsu, Sentai in particular.
Some users probably noticed too that I'm obsessed with Sakura Wars.
And in anime-sphere, I'm pretty deep into voice actors even more so than anime itself, I can guess what anime people are watching just by listening to the voices and make an educated guess by cross referencing which actors play which role, I have few collections of sound bank of certain actor/actress, and the main reason I can play fighting games blindfolded was also because I can pick up the character's sound cue. For some of my favorites, I can recognize them by their breathing.

All the time even as an adult. Reading online I think it is a symptom of ADHD compounded by the internet.

Phantasy Star. I was looking back at my old GameFAQs posts and did not realise just how much stuff I actually posted and experimented with. Once I figured out how to get the Landrover into towns and dungeons I went loco with it. That and deep dives into why Ryan from Phantasy Star 3 is unaccounted for after generation 2 and who Kara's mother could be. Why not the nurse at the clinic? She's got green hair. It's a match made in Heaven!

Women.
Like, having a list with names... and that list containing 24k-ish names, sorted alphabetically with categories.

I remember checking many lore pages and sections (especially for PSO) in the Fringe of Algol site.

Thoughts on Colon?
Important question.
She is one of the more prominent supporting non-human character for sure, but I felt she lacks impact outside of her nice and polite personality and being a robot. My personal favorites for the team's allies/supporting member are Jii and Shirabe.

Speedcubes
Retrogaming handhelds
Casio watches
And right now, stationery
