Post, in your opinion, the absolute best album cover and the absolute worst album cover

Just what you think is the best album cover you've seen, one that immediately made you want to listen to said album, and the worst one, the one that made you avoid the album or makes you refuse to put any of the songs on it on your playlist cause you don't want to look at it. Note: DO NOT POST THE WEIRD GORE SHIT PLEASE.

Best: Titanic Rising - Weyes Blood

probably a very obvious pick, but it is just so utterly stunning. The fact that this is a real set they built underwater to take this photo is just utterly incredible. Also helps that the music is completely gorgeous and transcendent.

Worst: Mosquito - Yeah Yeah Yeahs

I'm sorry to pull the AVGN, but what were they thinking? It's just so fucking ugly, and utterly inane. What sucks is that Sacrilege, the opening track, is in my opinion their best song. But like I don't want to listen to it, because then I have to look at this fugly shit. No wonder they cropped it for streaming.

I don't have a "worst" to share, but I do have my favourite art, that being Temperamental from Everything But the Girl

I love how the choices of colour and faded cityscapes depict monochrome industrial cities. The rough shades of black and grey really attest to our modern world being what it is. All but the artist name is depicted as a forlorn shadow, but the glimpse of yellow could be seen as a sun that can potentially give rays of hope to this blotched world.

I wouldn't say "absolute best" but it's one of my favorite covers. I saw this cover when browsing Discogs and it was from some user taking a selfie with it like it was a treasure they cherished. I thought it looked like it might be an awesome older classic Acid House album and I was right (it has the blood smiley on the hat that is a symbol for rave/acid). Here's some good tracks from it: Don't Make me Wait (feat. Lauraine) and Megablast (Hip Hop on Precinct 13). That first one is the official music video for Don't Make Me Wait, but the album version has one with an intro featuring a radio DJ in Tokyo announcing in Japanese that he's gonna play the track.

One of the worst and most tasteless covers I've seen. This is the debut album from the Swedish Eurodance/Country fusion group known for the one hit wonder that became a cultural sensation: Cotton Eye Joe. No doubt most people know of that song from the sheer airplay and meme use it had, but not many people know how f'ing terrible the original album art from the album it was released on was. The album itself is also just pretty terrible.
