Same. And I don't think that I will talk too much in the future. But it was funny though, back then when discord was launched. Also I was hoping that it will be a little bit more russian-speaking people in the future there. Now the server is dead. lol

Join any Gothic (the game) server and you're sure to run into Russian speakers :D

Why should I? I just was wandering is it possible to beat Spanish and Portugese with Russian in foreign chat or not?
My favorite game by the way. Planning to learn German one day to play it in original language.:)

Yeah thanks. Right now I'm learning Japanese (10 years or so with huge intervals) and I think I still in infant shape with it. So I reeaaally need a good luck to learn German, especially considering that I didn't started yet ?

The RGT Discord, a server made for users of RetroGameTalk has shut down after issues regarding matinence and moderation from Spike, the server owner and the creator of this Forum.

I don't think this thread was meant as a laundromat for dirty Discord laundry. Nobody here has to like or trust me, but it would be nice if they kept their personal problems to themselves. This is a different community and a possible fresh start

I hope that nobody here isn't talking bad about you, but if you don't want to hear more from this thread, you're always able to unwatch it, and continue to move on. Don't let others negative comments affect you; even if you've done something wrong, there's still always a mean to fix it, and you're doing your job, now it just means for others to see this to think and react the same.

Thank you! I'll be honest, it's kind of a weak point for me. I'm trying to let it all go and become better but it's a bit hard when others can't do the same. Working on it though

And that's okay! Its a common learning experience to try something you haven't dabbed at before, and if its not fit for you, either find something else thats more interesting or stick to what you're good at.

You weren't *that* bad
like i said, i saw many discord server, that one was on the "good" tier, even on the worse moments
anyway, whats done is done. Nice to see you and some others around here ;)

Discord is literally cancer, and it's pointless for a forum to have one as a lot of the discussion would just move to discord leaving the forum empty.

I'm not used a lot to big discord servers ( only have mine with like 30 friends and coworkers ) but it always seemed like the forum community was more friendly and lively.

To be honest it got out of control in my opinion, i've seen things done that do not represent me. I've always tried to treat people fairly, I didn't always succeed and I'm truly ashamed for that.
I respect all opinions, as long as you don't break the written rules we decided upon I'm happy.

The treatment of some users in that discord wasn't acceptable to me and I can't in good conscience have that going on and do nothing about it. The amount of time it would take to run it as I would like to doesn't exist in my day to day. I can however run this forums much better. So I rather consolidate users here if possible.

I been following Spike for awhile and new to the whole Discord server Join but from my perspective it wasn't who he/you were and are and you genuine connect to your audience when you have time from your day to day plus you're time in the emulating scene as well (':
