"Comfy" game recommendations, that go well with a cup of coffee?

Been looking for some examples of this. Bonus points, if we're talking about anything from the 90's.

24 killers (despite the name) was one of the most laid back and comfy games i played last year. it feels really homey, you explore an island and have to help out different monsters with their problems so you can take their picture, scan it, and get toast in return. it makes a lot more sense when you play it, trust me. if you've ever played something like chulip or moon, it's sorta like that.

The professor himself might prefer a cup of tea, but I have found the Layton games to be excellent choices to help wake your brain up whilst you enjoy that first cup of coffee: a comfy digital alternative to doing the daily crossword.

I don't like my real life neighbors so I enjoy and Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons or Rune Factory title that while the cast is colorful I enjoy engagement with them at my pace and discretion. Not quite comfy norm material but just exploring any world from a Team Ico game like Shadow of the Colossus right were you start you can just ride your horse in the sand and plains and just enjoy the ride.

Fez is a fun little puzzle platformer and perfect for a cold morning where you can just huddle up under a blanket with some coffee or tea.

None of them are 90s, I'm sorry. ;3; But you get to be an adorable menace and have quaint fun building stuff!

The legend of heroes: Trails in the Sky is basically a "one-hand game", it's made for keyboard controls and you mainly control it with just the mouse, so you can sip coffee with your left hand and play with your right hand.

Morrowind: Because of the constant ambiance, sounds and chill atmosphere. This game is like a ASMR for me.
Bomb Rush Cyberfunk: Hang out with the boys in futuristic y2k simulator. It's such a chill "unplug your mind and play" game
Majora's Mask: I might be the only one because the whole time limit thing(and the sad, dark and tragic themes), but it's so comfy to stay inside the houses and watch people live their lives. I would love to live in Clock Town (without moon falling)

I know a few one handed games but I think that's for a different topic

I would say Harvest Moon and to a extend the Rune Factory games, on the first you have a farm and while you take care of it you establish relationship with the other people of the island and possibly meet your true love by the end of the year, the first one is from 1997 for Snes but there's a lot of more game like the one I recommend to start "A wonderful life" on Gamecube and in the case of Rune factory is the same but at the same time is an action RPG with a story and arcs the first one is for DS and the latest entry releases this year on Switch and PC.
