Can't remember the name of that game from your past?

I remember playing on PC a low poly rail shooter with a plane (like Star Fox) and I remember that one of the bosses I got stuck in (perhaps the third level) was a train where you had to destroy each sections individually and they were armed.

I also need to remember if it was a PC game or an emulated PSX title but I doubt that old computers could emulate it well to begin with.

Is there any chance that it might be Einhänder?

I’m trying to remember the name of a game I played as a kid. It had a similar style to River City Ransom — side-scrolling beat ‘em up with simple graphics and fun combat. What I remember most is that the final battle was against two opponents, and the game could be played in 2-player co-op.

I’ve been trying to find it for years but can’t recall the title. Does anyone know which game this might be? Any clue or suggestion would be super helpful!

Downtown special Kunio kun( Edo period oriented )
Or the later snes: Shodai Nekketsu Kouha Kunio kun

Not enough information. You might want to look into Technos in general, they made River City and many other beat-'em-ups (they invented the genre). The Combatribes, the Kunio series, Double Dragon series, etc.
Most games like these don't have shops. But your memories are so vague that maybe you're mixing different games together.

Maybe I'm being silly but do you remember what console you played it on? I know the OP kinda suggests NES, I just want to make sure.

Wouldn't it be funny if we all had an egg on our faces because we all homed in on NES because of the River City Ransom comparison only for it to turn out that we should've been looking elsewhere.

Also, could you tell us what region of the world you lived in at the time? Maybe your game was Japan- or PAL-exclusive for example.

Sorry, it was a rail shooter (ie: 3D from behind) rather than 2.5D side scrolling.

Hello I'd like to ask this for the longest time. Have any one of you remembered a monkey game where its like a minigame of sorts? Its like a wii sports type of coop game where you one up another through various different challenges till a monkey wins. They come in different colors too! No matter how much I scavenge the repo, I seem to never see it or even hear people talk about it. Aside from the monkey game There's also a game where you're a cop and you try to chase down cars on the road while you try to avoid hitting cars(?) Theres this one particular scene where you chase a Firefighter vehicle and you try to climb the ladder from behind. Thats what I remember back my childhood. Anyway If anyone of you know any of these games please comment it out , I've been trying to find them for the last 4 years. Thanks!!

The cop game has to be Pursuit Force. There are two of them. They can be really fun, I just hate most of the non-car levels.
If you want more games like these, that whole genre of "car chases where you have to ram into the target's car" starts with Taito's Chase HQ in the arcades. Sega & Aicom's AB Cop is a fun one.

This is gonna be vague, but I'm trying as best I can:
- it's at least 360/PS3 era or newer, I don't know if it was on either of those. I played it on PC a few years back. Maybe 5ish or so.
- open world 3d: don't recall if it was first or third person
- there's an island you can get to, and all I remember is that it took some doing to get there, but I don't remember if you swam or what.
- there are boats at a dock but I think they were broken
- there was either a lighthouse or some kind of storage shacks, possibly both
- if you were looking back toward the main map, there was a boat at this island on the coast to your left and I think it was possible to get on top of it. It may have been partially submerged and maybe yellow?
- tall grass on this island
- maybe monsters? maybe zombies
- zero clue about your character or any gameplay mechanics, I just remember finally getting to this island and needing to return at least twice, but I don't remember for what. Maybe collecting materials

My brain is saying it's Dead Island 1, but you don't swim to any islands in Dead Island that I can recall, in any of the areas. If this fuzzy ass memory is enough to pin it down, I thank you much.

[edit - it doesn't jive with some of the stuff I'm saying here, but it might be spectacle island in Fallout 4? I'd hate to reinstall it just to see, but I might]

I remember some indie game in a medieval setting that allowed for 3 player coop, the title screen had a mule or a horse pulling the carriage which is were everyone travels, it was similar to spelunky in some ways and also it had unlockable characters
