I may say I did saw lots of such generic video game trailers but you didn't give any significant detail whatsoever. No year frame, no detail on how the girl is, environment, graphic style, art style, what it might be its target platform and all...

Not to mention it may not be from a cancelled game, it may be very early teaser, prototype and whatnot video that video games can change since their early announcements. For example years ago while I was exploring foreign channels on my satellite-connected TV I found a French channel showing a cool game about the young man who has typical Japanese "long but not too long long hair" throwing his Prince of Persia like long dagger around and where the dagger landed he was teleporting that location. So in the video we were completely seeing him from his back and he was running always forward. The video game had the impression that no matter what this character "moves forward" because at some point a tower was collapsing in front of him and he was zap zap teleporting inside of him and then the video ended when thus he reached a huge AF black monster. For a long time I thought it was a cancelled game or something because I didn't bump into any game like that, but then Final Fantasy XV released with the same mechanic lol so I gotta assume it was that game lol.

From the way you just gave little details it just reminds me Little Nightmares 1, perhaps it can be any game featuring a girl. If the girl is playable main character its rather easy to find by you because not many playable female character in existence to begin with.

is it this game?

Can't give any more details than I already have. Its all I can recall. If I had to guess year of trailer, 2010/11.

I'm gonna have a look for the music file I downloaded. If I find that, I'll have the anwer and post it.

It would help if you could recall the platform and/or the time. Was it after 2010s? If Team Ico inspired must have been after 2000s? Was it a PC games, or a console game, and what console?
I'd say 2010s for trailer date.

I downloaded the vid as a music file a while ago and the name stood out around the other music files I had so I checked the name on YT search and boom, vid popped and I'm like yah thats the vid I couldn't recall.

Yah shame it got cancelled based on how it looks in the trailer and given who was involved in its making. Also its artist was the same one who did Drakengard art.

Greetings everyone,

I have this game stuck in my mind that I played when I was small but cannot find. I made a simple drawing of it for representation. Every AI I tried couldn't find it. I am searching for a long time already, it would be amazing if someone can point me in the right direction.

Platform(s): PC

Genre: racing(formula 1 cars)

Estimated year of release: ~2000?

Graphics/art style: extremely retro, top to bottom view

Notable characters: -

Notable gameplay mechanics: The cars are moving across the desk, where office supplies are scattered. There were also puddles of ink from the pen that you need to avoid, otherwise your car loses speed.

Other details: The interface was very simple, there was no choice of tracks or car colors. Everything was randomized.
It is not Micro Machines.

Thanks everyone in advance!

I have also one thats kinda vague. Only thing i konw 100% is that it was on Snes and a platformer. A early level, might have been level 2 actually had this whole spooky theme going on. There were ghost enemies and i think flying books you jumped on, it was actually kinda creepy for a Snes level in that genre. I think the levels also weren't completely linear, you could explore a little bit but i think there was only one goal per level.

Could apply many other games as well, but maybe The Pagemaster?

It could be “Hostradamus: Hoffnung einer verlorenen Welt”. Check it out
