Sin & Punishment - The first boss, the crab armour, is easy but has an awesome design, once again pretty much all of the bosses in this game rule.

The boss fight at 11:25. It's moments like this that make me love this series. Nothing is more fun than seeing Team Sly working together.

There isn't anything about this boss in particular, I just think the tate system in general is brilliant and you can see it in action here

My ass was a novel boss fight.


But really ahhh psycho mantis but honestly all boss fights from MGS are great i would say the game at its best is it's boss fights.


The fiends of elements from Final Fantasy 4 and how each one had a weakness for example water needed to be shocked to prevent it from casting tsunami.

Dare i say kefka from FF6? Throughout the game he gets progressively stronger and the way you ascend to a glimmering golden sky with the game SNES intro music playing revealing kefka and the music going full crazy mode yeah kefka was one of them.

I'd have to say Wizzpig from Diddy Kong Racing, like that race battle is TOO hard, I still haven't beaten him.
I could also say that Mario & Luigi Dream Team's Late game bosses like Massif bros, The elite trio, the, Zeekeeper boss and all of Neo Bowser Castle and Dreamy Neo Bowser Castle, I still remember finally beating the final boss in a Cheddars restaurant, it was way too hard, especially with those gyro controls, I could also say more bosses from that game, but I've said enough, and the amount of bosses is way too many, I've been able to beat the massif bros and the elite trio easier now but dang everyone keeps saying the older Mario & Luigi games but Dream Team has way more bosses and usually the older Mario & Luigi bosses that are hard are usually the final one, but not Dream Team, it's practically every boss after the 1st half.

Not a "boss" in the traditional sense, but there's a gauntlet of enemies near the end on The Last Of Us that took me FOREVER to clear. Every single time I thought I was getting the hang of it, an enemy I hadn't seen before jumped right at me and caught me by surprise even as I was struggling to get my weapons reloaded or I simply didn't have any more ammo (or resources) left to fend them off. Finally putting all those rotting bastards away for good was one of my chief "HELL YEAH" gaming moments in... maybe ever.

But if that doesn't count, then I guess that there some pretty insane boss battles in Dragon Quest IX.

Young Geese from Ryuuko no Ken 2/Art of Fighting 2 & The King of Fighters NeoWave he is known for being an unfair boss because of the very powerful attacks that inflict a lot of life, he is very fast, he counters you with grabs, He spams you with special moves or with the same ones that you have no choice but to cover yourself and confront against him without continuing is hell too Because you have to beat all the opponents in the game without continuing at the very least, and in the KOF NeoWave he is very resistant to blows and lowers a lot of life even with heavyweight characters such as Daimon, Maxima and Chang to mention a few with his special moves as well and even reads your weaknesses and there are times that he does not let you breathe in battle spamming you to lose a round in a certain way. cheap even on the lowest difficulty (Level 1). And I also tried like more than 5 times with the help of 1/3 of life against the final boss that and it's still hell against him I could never defeat that unfair and cheap boss.

The final bosses of Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 always gave me quite some trouble! Not so much now that I'm older, but they can still pose a challenge.

As an adult, Malenia from Elden Ring is probably the most difficult boss I've managed to beat. Especially compared to other FromSoft bosses. Took me like a week!

The hardest boss in every FromSoft game for me is

Spoiler: Bosses

- Amygdala in the chalice dungeon where you have barely any HP in Bloodbourne
- The King's Pets in Dark Souls II SotFS
- Malenia in Elden Ring (although there are multiple bosses in that game where I think back like, "How tf did I beat that thing?")
- The Twin Princes in DkSIII
- Probably Manus in DkS? Idk, it's been a while.

Pretty sure they still aren't the hardest bosses I've fought though...

Man, the Valkyrie Queen was nails. So was the Valkyrie in Ragnarok as well. How comes the God of War only does chip damage huh?! xD
