yeah, the music does a good job of being foreboding. The music and the Stalfos.
that dungeon pretty much turned me away from playing the game. the game is not designed for stealth. i did once manage to get past it, and the game got better, but i wasn't in the mode to keep playing after that. i got caught like 10 times and it started to get annoying.I used to be so scared of the Forsaken Fortress in WW as a kid. Stealth sections caused my anxiety to spike lol
damn bro, you need to refine those stealth skillsthat dungeon pretty much turned me away from playing the game. the game is not designed for stealth. i did once manage to get past it, and the game got better, but i wasn't in the mode to keep playing after that. i got caught like 10 times and it started to get annoying.
i think that was my first time ever coming across a stealth section. i can do better nowadays. i've played and beaten: snake eater, peace walker, ground aero/phantom pain, most of mgs1, guns of the patriots, and botw/totk.damn bro, you need to refine those stealth skills
go play splinter cell
I still have this one at home (after reading the scan I went to get the re-release).One of the reasons why I loved the old Nintendo Power magazines.

If you find a duplicate you can dm it to me.I remember a previous Zelda topic or I'm mis-remembering?
I'll say it for the Nth time but I love the 2D top-down games (especially on handhelds).
But as time went on I became more fan of the Ys series but I would digress.
I don't mind it.If you find a duplicate you can dm it to me.
Although it’s likely dead so I’ll keep this one be.
You know what? I'm starting to slowly realize that my obsession with birds and avians may have stemmed from this game.
I've always loved how he looked slightly anime-ish without going too much like a Shonen. So what’s everyone’s favorite Link design?
For me, it’s definitely his depiction in the Oracle games!

I think this design is more or less perfect. I like that he’s younger (as I’ve always preferred younger versions of Link), I love how his outfit looks vaguely ”magical” and fairy-like with the boot cuffs, popped collar and huge hat. I like his long locks and that his shirt and pants are different colors.
Love my dwarf Link.
I legit cannot comprehend why Smash Bros never represented the orignal Link even as a simple skin for Young LinkThat's one of my favourites, too.
I'll stick to my favourite Zelda games answer and go with these two bad boys:

Classic style Link. Nothing else to say, really. I just love it.
There are two colors for Toon Link that attempts to mimic various classic Zelda looks, at the very least.I legit cannot comprehend why Smash Bros never represented the orignal Link even as a simple skin for Young Link
They just had her as the main character in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. Don't know why they didn't call it The Legend of Link this time, though. It would also be nice to see her team up with Icarus, Metroid, and Pokeyman in one game.Link should become the protagonist for one game. It’s always Zelda in every game!
I love Wind Waker but I've never been a huge fan of Toon Link when removed from the style of the games he's in. I never really liked how his undershirt is green (it makes sense though because the element of Wind is often shown as green in japanese media), but I really like how they made his eyes slightly dark brown in artwork for the DS games.I need to calm myself down before I go full nerd mode about 2D Zelda but I'll have to say that Toon Link's design is a natural evolution to his old chibi sprite from Zelda 1 to Oracle of Ages/Seasons.
I agree, I think that the ALTTP remake art had a nice blend that wasn't as cartoony as Zelda 1 or 2, but also doesn't feel like it's from a modern anime. I've had a soft spot for that style, as well.I've always loved how he looked slightly anime-ish without going too much like a Shonen.
Since the same team who worked behind the Oracle Games (and Minish Cap) were also the ones who made the GBA remake (+ Fourswords) they've also redrawn the ALTTP artworks in that style:

Zelda in her casual outfit from the ALTTP GBA artwork is probably my personal favorite design of hers. In a word, it's cute. It's unfortunate that we didn't get to see this design in another title.

Completely random question but have you tried the side game of Fourswords Adventure (Tetra's Tracker) and the Satellaview games like SNES Zelda 1 and Ancient Stone Tablets? I'll have to do them someday.I've played and beaten every Zelda game except for TOTK. Used to really obssess over this series (wrote many theories and fanfics)
Overall, Zelda is great. But I'm not crazy about it like I used to be.
I have no shame in saying that I've used a guide for that one.Loved what I played of LoZ II for the GBA. So difficult. Only got about half way through it whilst playing legitimately. I will complete it one day.
