Your favorite games that no one praises

Seiya Monogatari Anearth Fantasy,i loved the beginning of the game where they let you choose yer background and what yer character class will be,also Mystic Ark,the early part of the game was had very otherworldly feeling, and the OST is phenomenal for a Snes games, especially when you entered World 3 and hearing the children laughter while the scene accompanied with OST like "Summer Of Youth"and some other like Dawn Of Mana, which imo got bad reputation because it isn't yer typical Mana games, since it feel more like 3D platformer and level reset on each new stage, but the fun you can do once you get the gist of the battle system, and usage of environment stuff to throw at enemies is great feeling.
I dunno if the game like Shadow Of Destiny/Memories is widely praised but it is very good game with complex story, also the other like Fragile Dream Farewell Ruin Of The Moon.

I love the Judge Dredd game that came out in 2003. It's a fun game especially if you're a fan of the comics. I hope the people behind the new Robocop game would make a new Dredd game.

I love PlayStation all star. It’s a great game in my opinion.

Mystic Formula on PC Engine CD

It's top down shooter that features a cooperative 2P mode. features some colorful cut scenes between stages. some ideas seemed half baked like entering a robot suit in one stage for whatever reason. oh and the motorcycle stage had some wonky moments, but overall it's a short but fun game.. give it a try!

Rag doll is great in the game. One of many things that make it so much fun to play. Like how the game allows you to arrest people just for being overweight.

Played this a bunch too, shame it didn't get a sequel as it had a lot of potential.
The Way of the Samurai games are great.
The Yakuza/Like a Dragon games get praised, but I guess everyone forgot the same team made Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise. Too bad it's stuck on ps4, it's fantastic. I guess it did get praise though, just slowly being forgotten about.

Legend of legaia on the PSX. The combat is a bit slow but it's really cool because you make combos to attack like in a fighting game but obviously in turns. View attachment 4326
Legaia was amazing, one of the best PS1 RPGs if you ask me, very fresh.
Remember Songi? he was tough.

He kicked my ass the first time I fight him ?. The guy was basically Akuma with the Vergil quest for power

I have already mentioned and explained about it before, in Games you replayed a hundred times thread, which tells by itself how much i like it!

Fatal Labyrinth (md)

It's something like Shiren the Wanderer, i liked it a lot!

A cutesy game about saving little chickies and returning them home!
I'm not sure if it is popular or not, but i loved it so much!

Front Mission 3

Greatest game Squaresoft ever made for me. Best SRPG out there with Mechs. Extremely fun, and satisfying.

I actually really like fatal lab

I think Final Fantasy Mystic Quest is quite good. And yet many Final Fantasy fans think it is some type of abomination or insult towards the North American fans. I don't see it that way. I think it is a really fun casual JRPG for a younger audience. A neat mix of Final Fantasy and Zelda.

Three PSX titles derived from as many classic anime, dating back to the eighties, two english translated a few years ago, and the first unfortunately not (available only in chinese translation ?‍♂️).

Armored core, criminally ignored. almost all entries in the series are really good (don’t touch armored core 2 without the joystick hack). my favorites are 3, silent line, nexus, last raven and the first one… actually i just listed almost all the armored core i’ve played xD (don’t touch armored core ninebreaker without being able to endure a lot of humiliation and punishment, also take into consideration that it’s more of a glorified tutorial turned game). simply in love with the robots, their setting, their gameplay and theme, especially the theme of human experiments and cruelty shown in some games in the series (it’s quite interesting, actually)

I have never heard anyone talk about Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure; it is a good Rhythm Mystery game that takes advantage of the 3Ds for wacky controls throughout its mini-game style Rhythm games.
Sega, please continue the series.

I game I got it randomly from a GameStop, A Witch's Tale, a Nis tile where you play as a little witch girl who thinks they are too good for school and ends up releasing an old witch by accident and now has to fix it.
I really like it cause your party consists of Liddell ( The little witch herself.) and two dolls.
The way you get more dolls is to find them on the overworld and do maybe an out-of-the-way puzzle or two.
I always have a soft spot for finding party members.

81yikzFAd4L.jpgIt is one of the two games that got me into turn-based JRPGs
What I have always loved about this game is that instead of a menu to pick the abilities, it would be buttons like XX△X. The combos would be decided by the decals on your blade.
Yes, this could cause you to repeat the same combo chain, but I have always found it fun.
The whole idea of going into a dungeon, looting it, and destroying its core, having to hurry, grab the rarer items that spawn, and still get out with time left on the ticking down clock is fun.

It's weird that they still call it Bubble Bobble, but

The PC-Engine port is a pretty great platformer action game, and a solid way to spend fifteen, twenty minutes here and there.

(I like using arcade-style games in place of mobile apps, you get the short pops of entertainment without the refined addiction triggers made to gnaw at you.)

Ah! You said Bubble Bobble II Rainbow Island, and reminded me of its sequel Parasol Stars (pce)!

One of most fun games of my childhood!
Honestly didn't notice that there's another installment of it in PCE until now! Thank you! ?
