The Last of Us
Fallout
Resident Evil
Silent Hill
Sonic
Left 4 dead
Fortnite
Metroid
Final Fantasy
Xenoblade

Not sure if it's worse cuz even as a human you can rise up somehow but Nosgoth. And Lost Sphear with everything vanishing and all.

🤔 with how easily you can get a 6-star wanted level in gta, I imagine living there means you’d constantly have to worry about the military being on your doorstep every waking moment xD.

The Witcher. Your village gets tormented by monsters and your only hope of relief is that someone will be able to pony up the cash to pay an exterminator. It's like a HOA from hell.

Manhunt, unless you're cold and visious like James Earl Cash, you're screwed the worst of the worst of evil people on Carcer City will hunt you dead.

what make the Fallout universe a hell to live in isn't the nuke bombs, its that everyone in that universe became a lazy idiot and are using centuries old explosion as an excuse not to get their shit together

what's preventing them from building infrastructure ? nothing but their own stupidity, they prefer to live in fucking unkempt ruins and kill each other over basically nothing, there isn't even that much radiation and they have magical cure for radiation diseases

Takes place in the same universe as the PS2 and PSP GTA era games, so that's a given.

  • Killer7
  • Drakengard & Nier universe. Things gets a bit better in Drakengard 2 and sort of with Automata.
  • Asura's Wrath, if you're a normal human. Though the demi-gods don't have it much better, but most of them are stupid and/or prideful to realize this.
  • House of the Dead
  • CarnEvil
  • Tekken
  • Mega Man X & Zero
  • Gears of War
  • FEAR
  • Condemned
  • MadWorld

Starfield would be hell to live in because those mfs instead of colonizing a single planet and make like multiple cities at one place they decided like fucking idiots to scatter across multiple stars building one small village on each planet, you literally have to do interstellar travel to go to the 7 eleven

(same goes for Elite Dangerous and probably a lot of space games)

Criticom for the Sega Saturn (1996) is widely panned as a, poor, sluggish, and visually unappealing 3D fighting game. Developed by Kronos Digital Entertainment, it features8 characters with complex, often unresponsive controls, "grainy" FMV scenes, and "bland" graphics inferior to the 32X. It is frequently ranked among the worst fighting games on the platform

Anything From Software, Resident Evil, Castlevania, Grand Theft Auto, and an obligatory mention of Warhammer 40K

Nobody has mentioned Baroque yet so it's my time to shine again. The world is pretty much uninhabitable unless you have really really twisted and distorted delusion, to a point becoming your whole personality.

Takes example Neck Thing, he has long ass neck with protruding bones is because he regrets of being part of Archangel's goons that cause the Great Heat Blaze and wants to avert his eyes from the aftermath.

Another (and last I can be bother writing with) example is Box Thing. He believes what's inside the box is his daughter and wanted to revive her somehow, although her daughter is well and alive in the surface (Horn Thing).

Even the protagonist - Koriel 12, is delusional as well, as his memories is manipulated by Archangel to feels guilty and "fix the world" for him. Instead Koriel 12 deep regret were wanted to switch place with his dead twin brother that died because reason when fused with Preserver and Creator.

For those who didn't have delusion pretty much becomes Grotesque. Even if the manga make changes to how the story pan out, I still very much recommend for you to read it.

Archangel is the Griffith of this universe.

Silent Hill. do not need a twisted deep dive into my inner psyche every time i go to get a carton of milk or whatever
Tbh , i wouldnt mind to go through a psychological horror of my mind and existence .

I hope that milk is worth to bet my life and psyche on it .

I think the world of Ninja Gaiden sounds at first really cool till you recognize that more than 100 Ninjas can spawn everywhere just because some Rando with the name Ryu Hayabusa ate some cheap ramen around the corner of your apartment , huge secret demon-gatherings of different species live under our societies , cybernetic enchanced soldiers work for the goverments with their own screwed up agendas and plans that can see human lifes as good target practices and dinosaurs aint really dead there .

Well the DOA world belongs to the ninja gaiden universe too ... that means if you train hard and long enough you can do stuff that belongs into superhuman abilities . And all girls are always hot .

It balances somehow a little out .

But Zack Island is there . ::smirk1

Nah !

The world of Warhammer is the worst .

Kirby. Think about it. If you aren't the victim of a planet-level calamity, you're probably liable to get sucked into the endless void that is Kirby's stomach.

What do you reckon is the worst game world to live in?

Left 4 Dead comes to mind. Being in a place rundown by zombies, with tanks, witches and swarms on running zombies sounds like a survivability zero scenario outside of a videogame.

FYI: I'm not going to respond to off topic, personal jabs. If your pride has been hurt, kindly take your ass to a therapist.
my personal choice is castlevania,i mean how could the resurrection cycle is keep intact for centuries until the dracula himself reincarnated into a silver haired highschool boy and been watched by his own son in disguise and his old enemy great grandson
and second is FFVI world,i mean you might won't be living today if kefka visit your town or country with his nihilistic vision and magitek army and massacred whole city by poisoning the water source
and third is mgs earth universe, imagine that the never ending war caused by the patriots and life dictated by the patriots AI with their super human soldiers and war economy only just because ideology diversity caused by Zero and Big Boss
The last one is RE world,i mean who tf want to live in the world that been used by mad scientist from different company division to make great bio organic weapon just because they're envy to each other like a nerd students war to show who could be a school god,and the b,o,w that been leaked and sold on black market and people bought it like they bought a canned beans and caused the war by sometimes with ridiculous, and unreasonable intention.

40k. Not even death will set you free.

I'll just mention ones that haven't been yet.

Yume Nikki
Eternal Darkness
sadly the real world of late

Oddworld would be pretty bad, both as a dangerous hellscape and on a day-to-day grind basis.

Breath of Fire II.

Toilets all stopped-up globally..............Being forced to jump into toilets.

Living in toilets............................................Feels bad, man...
