What do you reckon is the worst game world to live in?

Left 4 Dead comes to mind. Being in a place rundown by zombies, with tanks, witches and swarms on running zombies sounds like a survivability zero scenario outside of a videogame.

FYI: I'm not going to respond to off topic, personal jabs. If your pride has been hurt, kindly take your ass to a therapist.

Probably a glitchy game world or a game world where the protagonist is a speedrunner and just breaks all kinds of logic.

But realistically though and I'm making this quick since I gotta go, first-person shooter worlds like the Gears of War games or the DOOM games when you are not the main guy.

I'd say a place like Frostpunk is where I would want to live the least.

Actually come to think of it, the overwhelming majority of video game worlds would be pretty rough to live in for most people. Statically you're far more likely to be commonplace NPC then a powerful hero, and being a power-less bystander in a hyper hostile world wouldn't be a fun time. Unless it's a peaceful universe like Animal Crossing or Harvest Moon, I think I'm okay in my own world.

I could say the Serious Sam universe
If you're not Sam you are automatically cooked even worse the world got destroyed and even if you survive you probably gonna get captured and become a headless kamikaze that says ''AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA'' in the rest of your VERY short life

i want to go to harvest moon :,v

I guess Shin megami Tensei in general. A apocalypse in every game, sometimes a global flood a few years afterwards, demons roaming the streets, human factions killing each other...lots of fun.

Honorable mention, probably every Mecha game as well and speaking of mecha games, every world from soft ever created, they tend to die or be already dead when you arrive.

Fallout wasteland does not seem like a fun place to be

Probably almost all of them
Then again, it depends on who you are in said world.

Silent Hill. do not need a twisted deep dive into my inner psyche every time i go to get a carton of milk or whatever
