One game that comes to mind for me immediately would be the Saturn versions of Langirsser 1 and 2.
That release we got with chibified graphics is just a no-go.

that means super robot wars games then.I'll start. basically any of the Evangelion games that haven't already been translated like Secret of Evangelion.
We actually did get a version of langrisser 1 and 2 that is not the chibified one that was released on steam by NISA and i think a few consoles, the chibified one is more well known though (provided your talking about the one that completely changed the character designs as being the chibified one, all versions technically have chibi style on the field sprites, even the saturn/ps1 ones), that said both tend to be easier than the older versions. One game that comes to mind for me immediately would be the Saturn versions of Langirsser 1 and 2.

You mean Busin 0: Wizardry Alternative NEO correct?Langrisser 3 and Langrisser 5 remain untranslated. Would love to have the series complete.
Front Mission 2 never got a complete fan translation. Square Enix recently released a remake for the Switch but I hear mixed things about the quality level.
Busin 0:Wizardry Alternative for the PS2 would also be on my list. There's a detailed walkthrough in English that translates most of the menus, but tabbing back and forth between the guide and the game dampens the experience for me.
For what it's worth, the team that did a few trails game translations is working on a dinosaur resurrection translation:There are a number of them, some of which I'm surprised no one has done yet:
Also I'd appreciate retranslations of anything Working Designs (and their protege Dynamic Designs) translated. It would be better to get accurate translations instead of purposely altered text with cringy "original" dialog (as far as I'm concerned, Daikaijuu Monogatari does not count as being actually translated).
- All the non-translated Tengai Makyō games. This was the biggest RPG series for the PC Engine and one of the big sellers of the 90s, yet only 4 of them have been translated (only 1 of which is from the original PCE series).
- Twilight Syndrome series (PS1). With all the fans of Clock Tower out there hyped for the remaster, hopefully we'll get these soon.
- Yuuyami Doori Tankentai (PS1). More CT-like horror.
- Tokyo Twilight Busters (PC98 & NDS). Okay, just one more CT-like.
- Popful Mail (SFC, PC98, PCE CD). Each game is somewhat unique from the other versions, and since there's one translated already (albiet a WD translation), it shouldn't be too hard to do the rest.
- Possessioner (PC98). Some of the best graphics of the era, to the point that retro gaming sites use scenes from it as window dressing.
- Dinosaur (PC98 & Windows). One of the most forgotten JRPGs of all time.
- Dead of the Brain 2 (PC98 & PCE CD). The first is translated, but the 2nd remains to be done.
- Dragon Knight III & IV (PC98, PCE CD; PC98, SFC, PS1). The Windows version of III was translated, but not the other versions.
- various PCE CD games: Dragon Half, Basted, Faussete Amour, Ginga Fukei Densetsu Sapphire, Legend of Xanadu, Hi-Leg Fantasy.
- PSP games: Criminal Girls, Elminage series, Entaku no Seito: The Eternal Legend, Judie no Atelier, Ikki Tousen Xross Impact, Onore no Shinzuru Michi wo Yuke, Senritsu no Stratus, Vantage Master Portable, Violet no Atelier, Wizardry Empire III.
And I'd like to second the previous mentions of SegaGAGA (DC), El Dorado's Gate (DC), Kowloon's Gate (PS1), Lunar Magic School (SAT), and Princess Crown (SAT). All good choices I've also wanted.
For what it's worth, SMT nine works in the xbox emulator last i checked, but yeah it needs a translation first.A lot of my most wanted have already been mentioned; Devil Summoner, Valken 2, Despiria, untranslated Suda51 such as Blood+ or Moonlight Syndrome (which thankfully has an in progress fan translation), any Super Robot Wars but especially the Alpha series, any Votoms game.
I would like to add Love & Destroy, a mech action game.
Nemuru Mayu, a bizarre first person dungeon crawler.
And Shin Megami Tensei Nine, although even if it had a fan translation I wouldn't be able to play it cause i don't have an Xbox lo
Frankly I feel the FM remakes are amazing overall. I have some grips with FM1 especially because of the lame combat camera (it only looks good in arena fights), but FM2? all around goodness.Front Mission 2 never got a complete fan translation. Because the busin o: wizardry Alternative was released in the west as wizardry: tales of the forsaken land by atlus.

Not to mention even if FM2 PS1 were translated, you'd have to wait an ungodly amount of time for battles to load - no thanks.
I would love a translation of Ps1 Brightis, obscure gem JPN only.
I can play it on Retroarch with AI service, but i would love to play on consoles too
Hi, this is useful for every game to translate texts to any language in real time, my native language is portuguese, so i use it to translate Japanese games to PT.Saturn or PS1 version of 3X3 Eyes: Kyuusei Koushu S ? and SEGA SGGG - Segagaga (Japan) ?which will never ever be translated, i played that on my original dreamcast as a teen painfully and it wasn't a great experience, i want to know what it's all about!
i'm thankful for the what's Shenmue translation on here, i've yet to play it but it's nice knowing what they are saying!

how do you use the AI service on retroarch? it could possibly be useful for some games?
My motherfucking man! Recently went through this and it deserves a translation![]()

definetely deSpiria. It's from dreamcast, fucking weird, also reminds me of Hylics somehow, Baroque too and of course the Suspiria movie just because of the name.
i'm also waiting for the first Boku no Natsuyasumi (psx) to be translated. Hilltop made the 2nd for the ps2, while the first one seems to be stuck with other people...
I'd love all the Medarot games to get translations, yes even Girl's Mission on the 3DS
