Wishlist of games you wish got translated

Magic School: Lunar and Summon Night 3 are the top picks for me.

I actually beat the first one in Japanese, but with considerable effort, using a walkthrough and without savoring all the little details that make an RPG come alive.

- Tricolore Crise
- Riglord Saga 2
- Geometry Duel
- Okoku no Grand Chef
- Mahoutsukai ni Naru Houhou
- TwinBee RPG
- Legend Of Xanadu I & II
- Vermilion Desert
- Tilk: Aoi Umi kara Kita Shoujo
- Gaia Master
- Waku Waku Puyo Puyo Dungeon
- Rune Caster
- Blue Forest Story
- Langrisser Millennium
- Hanabi Fantast
- DeviceReign
- Kiteretsu Shounen's Gangagan
- Air's Adventure
- Blue Breaker: Ken Yori mo Hohoemi o

Yes, Kengo 3 English translation will be perfect. I still remember the first time trying it and playing blind. The game has so much depth in every aspect it will guarantee more than 50 hours of gameplay. For me who enjoys simulation with RPG it's the perfect game.

The other one will be K-1 王者になろう! King of Kings [SLPS-02602] [J] (2000)
This Japan only release allows you to create a fighter in career mode and control a lot of aspects from training regiment to fighting style.

Developers just don't create this game anymore, at least not outside Japan.
Anyway, if any of you gentlemen here has a reference for the games with similar genre please let me know.

In the meantime i'm learning reading Japanese.

Shining Force Gaiden for Sega Game Gear. I know Shining Force CD exists, but Gaiden is the only one in the Game Gear trilogy that was never translated.

I thought Gaiden was translated? But then again I also thought there were two Game Gear Shining Force games. There are three?

For me, any Angelique game. Please? Just one. I don't even care which. ?

There's 3 Shining Force Gaiden games. The US only got the second Shining Force Gaiden. The only Shining Force Gaiden to get a fan translation is the third one, Final Conflict.

All the Dragons Quests for the PS1, and also Adventure of little Ralph, and for the ps2 Armored Trooper Votoms, a man can only dream.

Captain Tsubasa J: Get In The Tomorrow. I think I played it as a kid.
More detective Conan games being in English would also be a delight.

Langrisser 3 and Langrisser 5 remain untranslated. Would love to have the series complete.

Front Mission 2 never got a complete fan translation. Square Enix recently released a remake for the Switch but I hear mixed things about the quality level.

Busin 0:Wizardry Alternative NEO for the PS2 would also be on my list. There's a detailed walkthrough in English that translates most of the menus, but tabbing back and forth between the guide and the game dampens the experience for me.

Gonna add the two Xanadu games for PCE to the list:

Super interested to hear what's going on in them.
Was told there was a translation project that included amateur voice actors in the works but all info on it seems to be about four years old at this point ?‍♂️

There are a number of them, some of which I'm surprised no one has done yet:
  • All the non-translated Tengai Makyō games. This was the biggest RPG series for the PC Engine and one of the big sellers of the 90s, yet only 4 of them have been translated (only 1 of which is from the original PCE series).
  • Twilight Syndrome series (PS1). With all the fans of Clock Tower out there hyped for the remaster, hopefully we'll get these soon.
  • Yuuyami Doori Tankentai (PS1). More CT-like horror.
  • Tokyo Twilight Busters (PC98 & NDS). Okay, just one more CT-like.
  • Popful Mail (SFC, PC98, PCE CD). Each game is somewhat unique from the other versions, and since there's one translated already (albiet a WD translation), it shouldn't be too hard to do the rest.
  • Possessioner (PC98). Some of the best graphics of the era, to the point that retro gaming sites use scenes from it as window dressing.
  • Dinosaur (PC98 & Windows). One of the most forgotten JRPGs of all time.
  • Dead of the Brain 2 (PC98 & PCE CD). The first is translated, but the 2nd remains to be done.
  • Dragon Knight III & IV (PC98, PCE CD; PC98, SFC, PS1). The Windows version of III was translated, but not the other versions.
  • various PCE CD games: Dragon Half, Basted, Faussete Amour, Ginga Fukei Densetsu Sapphire, Legend of Xanadu, Hi-Leg Fantasy.
  • PSP games: Criminal Girls, Elminage series, Entaku no Seito: The Eternal Legend, Judie no Atelier, Ikki Tousen Xross Impact, Onore no Shinzuru Michi wo Yuke, Senritsu no Stratus, Vantage Master Portable, Violet no Atelier, Wizardry Empire III.
Also I'd appreciate retranslations of anything Working Designs (and their protege Dynamic Designs) translated. It would be better to get accurate translations instead of purposely altered text with cringy "original" dialog (as far as I'm concerned, Daikaijuu Monogatari does not count as being actually translated).

And I'd like to second the previous mentions of SegaGAGA (DC), El Dorado's Gate (DC), Kowloon's Gate (PS1), Lunar Magic School (SAT), and Princess Crown (SAT). All good choices I've also wanted.

I’m actually on the opposite end of the spectrum. I’m hoping for a complete retranslation of the Sega CD game. Preferably with voice acting like Bulk Slash, but I know that’ll never happen. I’ll gladly take subtitles though.
