From a review of Sonic Heroes by the Xbox UK magazine. Have you another one?
Holy shit. I know there are no lack of people with different proclivities, but writing in a magazine how you want to fuck Amy and specially CREAM, is an special level of unhinged.

i don't want to fuck them, i'm saying the idiots who wrote that in a magazine is making fun of people who like Sonic and saying that fans want to fuck them. You need to understand how trolling works. You're twisting what i said.

Nothing will ever top Command and Conquer ads its so outrageous, I might even add Dead Space 2 ads from TV as well.

There's Nazis who take it seriously. How many are on this site alone? I hate Nazis. I don't feel bad for saying it.

Inb4 y'all remember how much porn used to pass as game ads.

Yes this was the internet for people back before there was any internet

it's making fun of Sonic fans calling them furries/perverts/pedophiles. It was the era of mocking anyone who liked Sonic like with ChrisChan, AKnotholeResident, SammyClassicSonicFan, ect. It doesn't help that Babysitting Cream (a sick perverted light novel game where Sonic and Cream do gross things together) got a lot of attention from trolls. I mean you still have streamers on Twitch mocking the series like everyone on Vinesauce and Game Grumps.
Oh is that what they meant? I always thought the guy who wrote the article had an actual sick twisted obsession with Cream.

The first forum I ever used had been around since 1998.

Weird, ain't it?
Not really if you could afford a PC and the slow ass internet at the time, but since the expand of the internet happened in the late 2000's/early 2010's, so many people think that the internet is way newer than it actually was.

True.

But some people crap their pants when they learn that we had these... Even though I was late to the party, it's so funny seeing people struggle to get to grips with the fact.

Most think it was all a nebulous chain of DOS prompts or something along those lines.

Yeah and they try to say things like "but we don't had it at the time". It's like bro, most technology inventions aren't affordable for most people until years later.

Right on! I didn't even get a fucking MP3 player til years later, and that wasn't exactly top technology.

I mean the internet did exist in the 90s, even the Dreamcast had internet support, also remember Doom came out in 1993 and afaik it had forums and internet support.

I started using it in 2002, however, kinda late to the party.

PC games had internet support in the 90s. Dreamcast in 99-2000ish. Runscape was BIG on PC back then. Doom too. Quake for sure. Unreal too.

Fun fact: when John Romero founded Ion Storm, he looked into the Doom and Quake online scenes and underground for mappers and modders to help him get Daikatana made.

Another fun fact: the game was made on the Quake I engine and later was rebooted to the Quake II engine.

We had forums called "BBS"s (bulletin board systems) back in 1982 with our mighty
300 baud (the measure of the number of changes to the signal (per second) that propagate through a transmission medium, avg. now is 9600) modems on our Commodore 64s

And we rode dinosaurs to school... ::eggmanlaugh

Tomb Raider was pretty notorious for that, wasn't it?
Yep.

I still remember an ad that, as far as I know, was only ever in my neck of the woods... And it went like:

"Girls will like Lara Croft because she's a strong female lead. Guys for... Other reasons".

*Lara Croft was like two-and-a-half polygons of pixelated ass at the time* XD

I like the one with Guts and Lara Croft. The only reason why that ad exists is because both were on Dreamcast. lol

What is everyone getting excited for, Lara was only wearing a bra from the 1950s
