They packed too much content in this one

I spent so many hours playing all the game modes and extra hard modes. It's the most replay value I have gotten out of any Kirby game. There was never too much content.

How are people scaling Kirby here? People here don't realize that most of his enemies get defeated by standard stuff like a yo-yo or punches and kicks, maybe a suplex. How does this work with the scaling from the mini-games like what Scotty exampled "Megaton Punch"?

Minigames don't tend to be canon.
Plus at the end of the day, Kirby's a video game made to be simple and for very small children. It would make 0 sense for all enemies to be damage sponges to be accurate to lore. Not to mention the average non-boss enemies are the equivalent of wildlife anyway. You don't expect Nruff here to be a planet destroyer.

When you think about it many video game characters are powerful because of the possibilities in their own gameplay.

Mario is a human (Homo Nintendus technically but this sounds more like a joke than a real species name) yet he could jump several times his height, he can punch blocks made of bricks, he can run several times his size in little time (like insects) without getting tired, he can use fire without burning himself, he can hold is breath for as long as he needs, he can... he can do many things even the best athletes couldn't do.

I played kirby for a little while and he's alright , never paid much attention to his power in the short period when i played the GBA game , he's OK nothing deep about it

Why being so violent about fun theories from people? Kirby has many cosmic horrors but more of those lore bits are hidden behind harder game modes (thus most of the people knowing are older).

I'd argue that it's not because something is made for all ages (it's not made only for children I precise) that it cannot tackle or have a "double reading" (take a look at Pixar's classic movies from the 90's and 00's because you can clearly see a different interpretation and some jokes that may have gone past the radar for the younger audience) and that something that may look "dark and mature" may be actually only be in surface while being ridiculous and immature when taken in-depth.

PS: Also I don't know why you're talking about Blizzard because it's unrelated to the topic's main subject.

Some people think of Nintendo fans as sub human trash. Not all fans of Nintendo content are equal. There are some of us who casually enjoy some of the series Nintendo has made or oversee. Such as Mario, Zelda, DK, Kirby, Star Fox, Metroid, Fire Emblem, Pokemon, etc. Since those series are usually pretty great and have tried to maintain a high standard of quality. Then you have those hardcore fanboy idiots who try to act like Nintendo is wholly perfect and are without fault in anything they do. Those people are brain dead and can indeed be considered sub human, but generalizing all fans of Nintendo as idiots is just wrong and unfair. Also there's nothing wrong with adults enjoying content made for younger audiences. When MLP FiM was airing I used to watch it and read fanfiction of it. Cartoons and games made for younger audiences can be equally entertaining if they're of good quality and writing. They can also help with destressing from how shitty life is these bleak days. I have a white graphic tee with Kirby on it doing multiple cute poses, and I'm not afraid to wear it out in public. If anybody has anything bad to say about it, I'd tell them to go fuck themselves.

Considering that one of the most beloved franchises in the mecha fandom, the Brave series, is primarily aimed at young boys and there are several other examples of cartoons or games made for kids that adults enjoy too, especially ones that treat mature subject matter with respect. (i.e. Batman The Animated Series)

tl;dr for the main subject of the thread as a Kirby fan myself, I feel part of it is overexaggerating and another part is because of ESPECIALLY Kirby Star Allies with the Void Termina fight.

As someone in the mecha fandom, at one point I just learn to tune out all the powerscaling discourse because it's so fucking annoying.
