Im not sure but this whole debacle started cuz a thread called happy trans day or smth.

That thread was said to be flooded with trolls so it may as well have caused this , now it would have been better to avoid posting such clear statemnts that relate to politics some of us dont agree with , some will just ignore it if they don't agree , others and trolls would find it perfect for starting trouble.

Nah, the thread was closed at the end of the day out of an abundance of caution more than anything. Didn't want nuisances posting bigoted comments in it long after the fact.
